Manicured gardens, mint juleps on the front verandah, delicious home made cookies at reception, spectacular furnishings and outstanding fare...truly memorable. Don and Doug's hospitality was gracious, sincere, and fun. They directed us to nearby historical sites, restaurants which really helped our decisions for sight seeing.

We stayed at beautiful Oak Hill Inn last September & had the spacious Main Suite downstairs. Our bed was a lovely authentic queen-size half tester bed (ie with a canopy that extends from the head of the bed half-way towards the end), but with a modern memory-foam mattress, so super comfortable. I think the upstairs rooms have double beds (& one has a single as well), so I don't think there's a king-size. It really is the best B&B that we have ever stayed in. The owners won an award for their restoration of the historic home & the gourmet breakfasts are fantastic! We highly recommend this B&B.

"The downstairs suite is absolutely the best, though the upstairs rooms are lovely and comfortable as well."
