I stayed there for 2 nights while at an event at the Peaks (5km away). It was wonderful. Very pleasant owners who live right on site, met me at the door... easy check in. I was in a room out back and never heard a peep of traffic. Nice adirondack chairs and a grass strip before the sidewalk made it...

Quite aceptable place to lay one's head. Room was clean and spacious. Not too much in area to choose from if you have budget consierations. What you do outside of your room is more important anyways. Would stay again if in the area for a couple of days.

TRIP ADVISOR is not doing our business any favor when you DISPLAY"adequate lodging" as the summation of this review!!! "ROOM WAS CLEAN & SPACIOUS" ALSO you list our prices INCORRECTLY in some of the internet locations of TRIP ADVISOR! We are not an official paid member. Where do you get your information?? Nice, clean family run motel. Owners friendly and well aquainted with local amenities. If you plan on attending Calabogie Motorsports Park this is the place to stay. One of the best and fastest WiFi conections I have ever had at a motel.

The room was clean and included a hair dryer and coffee machine as well as a fridge and micro-wave. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The Motor Inn is a walk from Shooters Restaraunt bar and a few minutes from the race track. Its location is excellent for winding down the day with a few drinks at Shooters and...

My husband and I stayed here while attending a cycling road race in the area. The beds are extremely comfortable and I had great sleep. I left behind a sweater and Sue contacted us within 20 minutes of our departure to let us know. We had a long drive home and didn't want to double back so asked if she...

A very large group of us with ATVs spent a night here in Sept. 2015 and all went very well. Matt built us an amazing bonfire and made our trip extra special. The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were clean. Susan is great to deal with and the place is easy to find.

Clean rooms, recently renovated. Great pricing! Helpful owner-operator went the extra mile during our stay... literally went the extra mile by driving us to a wedding event 3 miles down the road... Hard to find that kind of service these days. Would definitely recommend this motel to any skiers, snowboarders, or race-drivers needing comfortable and affordable accommodations in the Calabogie...

The loons singing at daybreak. Wow! That's what I call an alarm clock! This is a beautiful area, with skiing in winter, the lakes for swimming and boating in summer, and the summer cottages. The motel is exceptionally well fitted up. I appreciated the indirect lighting over the bed when I watched Tv. The I bathroom is especially clean and...

I stayed here for 2 nights recently. I will write my review stating pros and cons, as always. PROS: -easy to find, right on the highway - very comfortable bed! - room and bathroom looked recently painted (relatively) - hair dryer in bathroom - large closet - microwave, kettle, mini-fridge in the room - a couple of candies and chocolates...

I would like to note that the traveling companions were extremely pleased with their stay and were very complimentary. We do our very best to insure a pleasant stay. We have never had those complaints before.

We stayed there for 2-3 days on a snowmobile vacation. The suite is absolutely very nice with all the commodities we needed. The room is spotless, bright and very comfortable. The only little thing is that the heating unit is a bit noisy. The owners are very nice and friendly. We will go back shortly for sure.

“We only found out as we were leaving that there is a row of rooms behind the ones we stayed in! I suppose if you want extra quiet, you could ask for one of them. If you are a couple sharing a bed, ask for a single room so you have all the extra space.”
