Located out of the centre and at the very tip of the Malecon on Punta Gorda is this Hostal and Restaurant. Our room was huge, with a king bed and bathroom on ground level, with a spiral staircase to a mezzanine floor containing 3 more beds and a TV. The room had AC, a safe and a small fridge. However, it does not have WiFi and with few other bars around it, proved problematic for us as finding any WiFi nearby proved fruitless. We had a good evening meal in the restaurant, which is next to their dock looking out to sea.
We had a really nice 3 days here. The hotel was good. The food was interesting but we enjoyed it. The staff were really good and did their best to help us with any queries. We would recommend this hotel. It was a little bit away from the town, but we got a motorbike taxi.
Tour around Cuba for 14 days. We arrived Camila's hostel in the evening. Delicious dinner in Camila's restaurante. And had a pleasant stay at Camila's hostel. Nice staff. We had a great time staying her.
Unfortunately we arrived in the midst of Hurricane Ian and power blackouts. We were unhappy with the lack of welcome on arrival. A man at the gate demanded our voucher before I was even out of the taxi. We walked down the drive to the restaurant and a young woman asked again for our voucher and our passports. We had just driven 3 hours from Havana through the storm and both badly needed the bathroom. When I explained this to her she said it was "irrelevant" However things did get better. We stayed 2 nights We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. Most staff were pleasant and helpful. Although there was a generator for the restaurant there was no emergency lighting for the rooms and no hot water. We were given portable lamps but other places we have stayed since did have generators for their whole complex. Because of the storm we did not see this place at its best. However I think the young female receptionist and the gate man could benefit from some training.…
The view is absolutly great, the staff is friendly and courteous and the rooms are beautiful and clean. Perfect place for taking a break and relax. Absolutely recommendable! Dont miss taking a drink and dinner at the beautiful terrace
Very nice restaurant right on the sea. We came in the middle of the afternoon just to have a drink and ended up eating a lobster: the place was so peaceful and relaxing! Great location, good food, friendly staff, reasonable price. Highly recommended
Very satisfied with our stay here! They have the best location in town, as they are included by the sea on both sides. We had breakfast and dinner with a lovely view. Our room was clean and spatious. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful place at the water, very helpful and kind staff help us with everything , ,brekfast was very tasty and many variety ,Cienfuegos is a nice small city to stay few days , some attraction options at the erea
On our way from Havana to Trinidad this month, I stayed overnight here with my family. We were very impressed with everything; clean room, clean sheets, good food, great sea views from their restaurant, and their hospitality in particular. What impressed us most was how kind and helpfull the staff is. The most problem in Cuba is there is no internet and the staff specially the woman who help us with check in was so helpfull to tell us where we can get the internet card. If I come to Cuba again I will 100% come to this place.
Camila's hostal & restaurant is a beautiful location with direct access to the sea. Rooms are wide and cozy, with everything needed for a good stay, the restaurant is located in a terrace with a wonderful view on the Cienfuegos Bay. Cuban food is very tasty and cocktails on the sea are a must if you want to relax in Cienfuegos. We loved here!
