Cuban hotels are not usually something to write home about, but this one is. It is government owned, as are all hotels and it is grossly overstaffed and only has seven rooms. But one might as well take advantage of that-it is an old colonial mansion, nicely preserved or restored, and even has a 24 hour bar in case you...

...shame I've only just got around to writing about it now! Beautiful building, nice clean room, and very friendly staff. Jorge was a great bartender, serving is VERY generous rums by night, and still being on hand to cook delicious breakfasts to help with the moderate hangovers the next morning!

It's $220.00 US dollars and includes breakfast. It's a mansion from the past converted in a boutique little hotel. Check in is at the bar... the bar tender checks you in and serve you a mojito. Internet is available for $2.00 tourist peso for 1 hour. Staff is really nice. If you can choose a room, the first floor room...

The hostal Palacio Azul is a very atmospheric colonial building now in use as a hotel. It is not possible to have dinner there (at least not for non-guests) but there is a very pleasant bar. The waiter was kind enough to refer us to restaurant Pelicano.

I stayed at the Blue Palace in October 2016 and had an amazing experience. I felt right at home. Everyone that worked at the hotel were friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for you. I felt like they were part of my family. The view of the Cienfuegos Bay and the sunsets are amazing! I will definitely...

We stayed here for 3 nights on our way around Cuba. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and really sticks out when you see it. It's refreshing to stay somewhere unique rather than the big concrete hotels. The Palacio Azul is quite small with only 6/7 rooms. We had a room by the front door/breakfast room/bar which was ok -...

We stayed at the Palacio Azul for one night on our way from Havana to Trinidad. The place is really nice, both outside and inside: it is a small hotel with only 7 rooms, that looks more like an old well-cured house than an hotel. If you search something special, well cured in all the details but different from big...

Hotel it was on the water and with views from the roof deck. The hotel is small (7 rooms I think) but very well kept and quaint. Rooms are a good size and well kept. Staff are excellent. Bar was very cheap compared to US prices. Bfast was very good. Great location for walking along the water etc.
