Although the view on the sea from the room is great, this hostal is pretty bad value for money in Cienfuegos. You can find similar places at cheaper price (we paid 50 CUC for 1 night - you can find similar accommodation nearby for 35...More
Peaceful, good service, nice and reliable host, and ...the nice small gazebo at the lake. Our son (8 years old at that time) used to run from the room to jumping into the lake after our daily excursion in town.
It was great and relaxing!...More
We travelled with our six month old daughter. Our room was just big enough for our stuff. We liked that it was clean and the view from the casa was nice. On the downside: the room was getting hot fast, and we couldn't leave the...More
Wonderful place to stay- caring, welcoming hosts, good breakfast and incredible rooftop views. Would be helpful to speak Spanish but you can get by here with the basics.
I highly recommend choosing this casa if you're planning a trip to Cienfuegos!
Very professionally-run seaside casa at the end of Punta Gorda. We had the room on the 2nd level which had two comfy double/queen beds. The room was very clean and renovated with great bathroom facilities, a new (quieter) air conditioner and fridge stocked with bottle...More

We booked this through BBVinales, as we did several others. As indicated, the accommodation was rather poor, also for Cuban standards; three motel rooms in the back. House owner-lady not really friendly (fake), no access to the (antique??) house. Extra charge for having the vehicle in an empty dead-end street. With wind the water is murky. Neighbouring plot full with waste, but the place was quiet.. Must be better B&B around in the area. Avoid those on a through going road.
