My wife and I spent 4 nights at Napo Wildlife centre and loved it. It is a great lodge by a lake in the Yasuni reserve. The room was a good size and there is a porch to sit at outside. The tower at the lodge has a very fine view. The food is really good. Great fruit, yummy soups...

Napo Wildlife Reserve is a truly magical place to to visit. The location and accommodation are stunning. From the moment we arrived our guide Rene was brilliant. He was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife, spoke very good English, and had a wicked sense of humour! Walks through the rain forest, discovering all forms of nature, climbing the tower and...

After visiting the Galapagos, our next stop was the Amazon River Basin. Just reaching the Napo Wildlife Center is an experience not to be missed! We were met at the airport in Coca by our guide for our stay - Delfin. Together with three other couples, we were shuttled to the Napo River where we boarded a motorized longboat and...

This is an eco lodge so everything focuses on reducing the impact of tourism to the enviroment whilst keeping the key comforts tourists expect. The place takes ages to get to and there is a long canoe ride without motor that makes this place feel special and remote. However this does cause the downsides as everything has to be brought...

I recently spent three nights at Napo Wildlife Center (and would have loved to have more time). The location is wonderful, the service outstanding and the food excellent. The lodge is also owned by the local tribe and not by an international company, so the money really goes to the local people. My bird guide Edwin was perfect, knowledgable and...

Three days and four nights is this five star Wildlife Center is a magnificent treat. We left with a far better view on ecotourism, we learned about the threats for the rainforest and what can be done about it (start with your own behaviour....). We were led and guided by a extremely experienced man, who spent his youth hunting in...

This lodge is a unique experience. I could go on describing the very comfortable cabins by the lake, the high standard in everything including the food which considering that you are deep in the Amazonian forest is incredible, the location within a national park with lots of animals ... but what really makes it unique is the spirit which surrounds...

An amazing hotel with exceptional views, wildlife, food and knowledgable guides - it was incredible how they spotted some of the rare animals in the thick amazon jungle! Big shout out to our guide Oscar, local guide Shyan and paddle man Cleber for making our experience 1000 times what we were expecting. You have to bare in mind that you...
