Incredible setting on a jungle lake. Guides were excellent and we saw so many birds, monkeys, insects - and of course - plants! Very nice cabin, good food. The most impressive was the knowledge and attention of the guides

A friend and I spent three nights at Sani and loved the experience. You definitely get the feeling of being in the Amazon: the heavy rain showers, the sound of the jungle at night when you go to sleep (monkeys, birds, frogs, crickets, and ???), having the critters all around you. After a 2 1/2 hour canoe ride, to a...

Many reviewers have described how to get there. You fly or drive to Coca, the gate-a-way city to the Ecuadorian Amazons. From there, you get on a motor boat, sail downstream for 2-3 hours, get off the boat, walk on a board walk for 10-15 minutes. Somebody will pick you up in a canoe, and paddle you to the lodge...

Sani Lodge is truly a hidden gem of tranquillity!
