Lovely owners that respond to every need. Inclusion of breakfast made mornings relaxing. Room was clean and had everything necessary. Room was tidied promptly while we were out. Bush walking track close by, but not very long. Stunning location, very quiet, and amble parking.

we stayed for 2 nights and also booked the limousine for a wine tour for the day. The retreat is simply beautiful. Stunning property and rooms fitted out with obvious care and detail. We also utilised the BBQ area and Chris and Joe accommodating and couldn't help enough. Such a shame you are leaving hope you enjoy your semi-retirement after...

This was such a beautiful location with nothing not to love! Chris was an excellent host - warm, friendly and helpful but not at all intrusive. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. Luxury touches like the fluffy towels and comfortable bed add to the feeling of comfort and just the right amount of indulgence....

Words fail to describe how beautiful and peaceful this place is. We dubbed the cottage our little "ginger bread house"! Very private, clean and everything you could need in the cottage. The grounds are just beautiful, the view million dollar. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - Chris was most welcoming and warm. Close to the main centre of town, 15...

Decided to book this place for our weekend getaway, reading the reviews from site, and we weren't disappointed. The location defines beauty. Not only was the house a classic treat to eyes with impeccable attention given to each and every minute detail of the place making it look nothing less than a museum, the hosts themselves were very warm, welcoming...

When my husband and I had the privilege of staying at Jo and Chris's beautiful, warm and relaxing Bimbadeen Mountain Retreat, it was just what the doctor ordered. We will definitely be spreading the word to all our friends and family about this lovely place to stay. We were made to feel so welcome. Thank you Chris and Jo.

My husband and I stayed at Bimbadeen Mountain Retreat for a weekend away. It is a wonderful spot just outside of Cessnock in the heart of the hunter valley. The owners Jo and Chris are very friendly and their home is very welcoming with a large open communal lounge and dining room on the first floor. There are two spa...

Just a warning, the steep driveway is a bit scary at first but is sealed all the way up and we made it more easily than we thought when we saw it. When we reached the top, the views were spectacular and went for ever. The house is terrific inside, it was the cleanest room. There were lots of knick...

Hi Karen I find it amazing when certain guests leave and write a review full of advice for me. When during their stay did not mention the list of recommendations they leave on trip advisor. If you would of spoken to me about your list of recommendation I could of informed you face to face. Rather than through the Trip...

Bimbadeen Mountain Retreat is situated in an absolutely stunning location with an amazing view across the valley. Our room was comfortable and inviting, and Chris's hospitality made our stay that much more pleasant. The continental breakfast delivered to our door each morning was also a really lovely touch. We'd definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful views, tranquil location and friendly owner. The room is clean and cosy and the bath tub with mountain views was very relaxing. The breakfast, which is brought to your room was excellent. Would recommend this for a weekend break.
