Stunning views over Hunter Valley wine region. Spotless villas with spa in bathroom. Breakfast basket included daily with juice yoghurt cereal toast milk tea coffee hot chocolate. Enough to get you going before enjoying the local wineries in the hunter. Bed super comfortable. Reverse cycle air con and also a gas fire for winter which was really snug in July.... More

The host, Ray was extremely accomodating and made our stay memorable and pleasant. The hospitality, view and the wine is the by far something to come back for. Definitely will return in the near future.

Peaceful location with amazing views over the valley, our cabin was very comfortable with fireplace, spa bath, kitchenette and terrace. As the other reviewer says, it's a 15 mins drive to get to the wineries but definitely worth it for the tranquility. Ray is exceptionally welcoming and went out of his way to look after us, I'll definitely be back... More

Sitting on the top of the hill, the views from all 8 villas at the estate are amazing. Each villa has a spa and the site includes swimming pool and BBQ s for use by guests. Our bed was comfortable and the villa a good size. Having been built in 2003 there was a bit of aging noticeable (cracked toilet... More

The view from the window and ledge is beautiful. We had a wedding down at Milones which was a minute drive so we stayed the weekend here. The Villa was beautifully situated and had a homely feeling. Everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast basket was a treat. And the owner Ray was a nice man to talk to. If... More

On arrival we were made to feel more like friends than guests. Once you get into the villa, where you find a comfortable bed, kitchenette, lounge and dining table , as well as a fire, (which was not needed in March) you then note the view - amazing. OK, this place is a little outside the main area of the... More

Lovely views, Ray was very friendly and helpful but we were a little disappointed with the accommodation, just not enough attention to detail. Bed was missing wheel stoppers, marks on coffee table which looked like rings from glasses/mugs, just needs a thoroughly good spring clean and then to be maintained. I know that Ray is a "one man band" but... More

We purchased a Living Social voucher for a midweek 3 night stay. Booking was easy and contact prior to arrival was informative and polite. Ray is a good host and makes a very good Shiraz. Situated high on Mount View, it commands a 270 deg view of the lower Hunter Valley overlooking Cessnock. We were in unit 4. The bay... More

After reading all the reviews I was really excited and thought my money was well spent... Was a bit of a let down after leaving in itchy bites Pros - amazing views - spa bath - nice fire - comfortable bed - good location Cons - Tiny tv - Me and my partner both left covered in bites, which I... Think this is our 4th or 5th stay in as many years - good value from the mid week living social deals, after initially staying for a wedding. Ray is an entertaining, knowledgeable host - have a chat to him about booking out the venue with friends and getting him to cater a lunch. Otherwise suggest eating out for lunch... More
