Pulling up to these apartments, the exterior is an instant let-down. As you can see in the photos, there is a pile of rubbish in the corner of the carpark: A chair, a microwave etc. This was never removed. There is also a seemingly abandoned car (the registration expired in August 2014) which is covered in cobwebs. This is awkwardly... More

Upon arrival was told that there was no room available . They stated that agoda wasnt a good website to book through. I have never had this problem before.. was finally given a room that wasnt cleaned but was told someone would clean it for us. However the bathroom was still dirty. We stayed here for a week having booked through Book a Bach (no problems encountered). The apartments have fantastic views over the ocean but you really do need to have a car otherwise you will be faced with a long and very steep walk to get to the town or the beach. The apartment (no 3 on top floor) was... More

Disappointing place. There is nothing "cosy" about this outfit (as per the description on Bookabach). Very tired, dated and basic with nothing in the way of creature comforts (including hot water!). So unimpressed we decided to leave a day early. Plenty better places to stay in Hahei that represent what NZ is famous for (which this place certainly ain't).

I would give this place a zero star even before I reached the apartment. I made a booking through agoda.com and received a confirmation from them. The deposit was charged to my credit card. Booked in May and just before the trip to NZ this Dec, we had double checked with the apartment to double confirm our booking, even though... More

We had a comfortable overnight stay at Ocean Pacific units 6&7. The owner accommodated our last minute booking and request. We enjoyed the fabulous view and proximity to the beach. My husband's keen to stay there again, for a longer holiday next time.
