Very unusual apartment style motel accommodation. Whoever built the stand alone building we stayed in must've been a wood-working craftsman. Quite unique design with a bedroom in a mezzanine floor within a Swiss chalet style roof. Everything there you need for a fairly-priced stay including free wi-fi and multi channel satellite t.v. even a smal plunge pool for those contemplating...

A must stopover at bucklands very clean units even free plunger coffee. The staff happy to give directions and advice. Will definitely return. Nice walk either way to marina or Peninsula and great to watch boats sail by from our bed.

We stayed for a couple of nights prior to taking the ferry across to Waiheke. A great spot, the morning view was gorgeous. The owners and all the staff were lovely and very hospitable. We were able to borrow a high chair for our youngest which was great. There was also a cot available (we didn't use it as we...

Beautiful Location on the Tamaki Estuary with lovely sea views and Beach. Motel Unit we stayed in was a Waterfront Room downstairs. Sitting out on Balcony overlooking Bay was lovely. Quiet location although on Esplanade. Rooms have nice kitchenette and seating area. Bed/lounge/Table all together with spare room and 2 Beds. Little bit compact in parts but still very nice....

We stayed 2 nights in one of the new studio rooms, garden view. The room was a good size but very narrow. There was a massive king bed, but there was only approx 300mm of space between the bed and the wall, and there was a flat screen tv taking up part of that space. Moving around the bed was...

We had stayed in a very poor motel in Half Moon Bay and transferred here. The waterfront Motel was light years better in quality. We had a ground floor room which was a bit tight because the bed was absolutely ginormous. Everything was of great quality, the décor, the furniture, the bathroom fittings etc. The massive bed was really comfy...

The price was reasonable as we reserved the hotel at least four months ago before traveling. There are not many hotels around that area. The facility are new. I believe it was renovated recently. We had a garden view room. The bed was huge (king size), that makes the walking area relatively smaller. When we checked-in, the receptionist cannot find...

We enjoyed our stay overall, the owners were nice and friendly, the room was clean and well equipped. We would prefer to have a TV in bedroom too so we can relax while watching TV. but otherwise, everything was great.

Family managed motel right on the waterfront which is a rare find anywhere near Auckland. On this particular stay we might have been better off inland because the wind was so strong it was blowing the surf right over the top of the motel and straight into our car as we tried to unload suitcases. One of the sliding doors...
