We arrived to find the owner entertaining company at the front of the motel - not a good look! We booked in and got the key to our unit - no sky tv, we were planning on watching the cricket. The young man explained that they had swapped Sky for Freeview ( really, more like cost cutting!). The fan was...

The accommodation was great, great staff and very relaxing place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. As for the review of this motel that states "shabby and expensive" ... I believe there is other accommodation in Warkworth???? maybe that person should have looked for accommodation elsewhere before writing a 200 word review, and all of it negative....

Such friendly staff members with nice rooms and a pool to cool off in summer. Very happy with this place would recommend. The staff accommodated our needs and went out of their way to make sure we got what we needed.

The accommodation was booked as we were attending a wedding close by. The unit we were given was very outdated and just generally felt rundown and crummy and the bed cover was dirty. It was on the second floor overlooking SH1 and was close to a unit which appeared to have a broken water pipe as water was cascading out...

I just wanted to say a big thanks to Vicki and Dan and their staff for always making us feel very welcome. We have stayed 3 times in the last 3 months, every time we have stayed they have made more improvements as they are new owners and each improvement has been noticed and enjoyed eg they are now triple...

We spent our first night in New Zealand here, clean, basic budget accommodation (some may find the rooms dated). The staff were friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. We checked out early the next morning with no dramas. Facilities include a heart shaped pool.

Was unable to get my normal weekly accommodation in Wellsford so needed to find something close. Rang and spoke to Jimmy, he was very helpful and polite. Checked in, and headed to the room. Very disappointed. Looks like it hasn't been touched since the early 90s. The bed was a tubular steel frame (think staying at the Batch) with an...

After travelling for many hours and getting quite lost, we stumbled upon Walton Park Motor Lodge late at night. The hosts were more than helpful and friendly after a tiring and hard day for us. They made every attempt to be welcoming and hospitable and found us a room despite it being a busy evening for them. We ate at...

Facilities are tired, minimalist, and not cheap for the price. Standard varied from room to room - check first! Radio did not work, some lights not working, dangerous doorstep at entry. No cooking facilities apart from tiny microwave. Staff were very helpful however.

The service was excellent - we were going to arrive late and the staff had put key in room, put a light on ready for our arrival. They also kept the office open until we arrived as they had no vacancy and we needed to park at the back. The room was clean and tidy. It had recently been painted...
