Peter & Susan are terrific hosts & the Roast Lamb dinner is still being talked about weeks later. The location overlooking the lake is great for an easy stroll before dinner or breakfast. A wonderful place to stay in a great location.

We only spent one night but should have stayed longer. Peter and Sharon were wonderful hosts. I recommend having dinner with them as the food and conversation were both excellent. The views take your breathe away. The room was fine although a view would been nice. Our son loved playing with the dog so much. Thanks both.

The location of this B&B is stunning - straight out over the lake Peter and Susan made us most welcome and we really enjoyed our stay Would recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely b&b and a quiet and friendly atmosphere.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Lake Ohau is a pristine glacially formed lake, a gem at the foot of the Southern Alps. You can enjoy the scenery from our homestay or you can be out enjoying the outside activities, which are on our doorstep: fishing, biking, skiing, running, tramping or just strolling. The breathtaking scenery is an inspiration for any budding or accomplished artist or photographer. Our 2 areas of accommodation are comfortable, warm and inviting, each having their own bathrooms and entrances. We offer a 3 course evening meal, in winter cooked on a Stanley wood burner, a full cooked breakfast available if wanted. ... more   less
