I was only there for a night; comfy bed, good wifi, OK shower. Ticked all the boxes for me. On the main road coming in to Omarama from Oamaru, so nice and easy to find. The host bloke was friendly but not intrusive, and I was able to park my motorcycle right outside my room.

Had an awesome stay in ahuriri! The owners are supernice and helpful. Everything was clean and tidy (well stocked kitchen with all kinds of spices that you can use) and the bed was very comfortable. Can only recommend it!!

Great wee camping ground with good clean facilities and friendly, accommodating new leasees. It's small size is relaxing compared with the big camps, close to bike pump track and well equipped and fenced children's playground. Very very reasonable camping rates. Will spend lots of time here

Booked in advance online for Warbirds over Wanaka. Stayed here over Easter weekend 2016 and we were not disappointed. Its within walking distance of a park , shops and restaurants/ takeouts. Even though our room was right beside the 50 / 100km stretch, there was little traffic noise and the curtains block out the light. Our unit was well appointed...

We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed the place. The buildings are a little old, but cosy and comfortable enough to our liking. It had everything we needed for our short stay in Omarama, and we would recommend this place as a short stop for anyone passing through.

This motel is clean and tidy but dated. It was perfect for us as we are mountain bikers just staying the night. We arrived latish and left early but motel man was very polite and friendly. Warm unit, good heaters, walking distance to pubs etc. Good value for money. We would stay here again.

Stayed at this motel during our A2O bike trail. Rooms were OK and clean. Surprised by no one being there until 2pm which seemed unusual. We were also surprised by the threat of a penalty if we didn't do the dishes ! Cleaning person arrived at 9.20am when check out was 10am. When sent away he reappeared at 9.50am. This...

Hi Ross, Good to have the opportunity to respond to your comments. Check-in time is pretty standard for most Motels and well advertised on our website and also on your booking confirmation e-mail 2-9pm. We cater for the average Kiwi like yourself, who most often is seeking cheaper accommodation and to this end we have been able to off set...

This is good accommodation in Omarama - very clean and comfortable. The service is a little patchy with nobody there when we arrived and not so friendly when they checked us in. However, it serves a purpose and is quite good. The town is great for a night. One weird thing ... if you don't do your own dishes they...

We are only a small privately owned business and as a result we do pretty much all the work ourselves which does mean at times the office is unattended, we do provide an intercom system so guests are never waiting long for service when this is activated. With regard to your dishes comment, it works extremely well as most guests...

Because these rooms used to be single mens quarters Ahuriri does not have the bare bones look of a regular motel, but more like units in a garden setting. Most rooms are a bi larger than basic motel with basic cooking facilities. We had no trouble with the wifi, though I did have to ask how to connect as you...
