I am not sure we were given the correct room. The description on my reservation said the room was for two people and had a refrigerator. "Our fantastic en-suite rooms are newly decorated and come with a queen bed, towels, a fridge, a TV with Sky Digital, an iPod/iPhone dock, quality shampoo & body wash, and tea & coffee facilities....

Hi John I am very sorry to hear of your disappointment. It does certainly sound like you were given the wrong room type. I wish I'd known at the time so I could have sorted this out for you. I feel had you been given the correct room or any of our other private rooms you would have had a...

We stayed one night as a family of 4 on our road trip and were delighted with our stay here. It's in a great location and we had our own room with bunk beds and a basic bathroom. I would highly recommended staying here if you want a cheap and friendly place to stay the night, if you want posh...

We stayed one night here in our campervan. The site is lush with vegetation and has plenty of facilities. It is a big site with lots of lodges, backpacker accommodation as well as campervans, We ate at the Monsoon café which was absolutely packed but the service was good. Our meals were huge. One meal would have been enough to...

We were a bit disappointed with this motel, the people at check in were friendly. The room was very dated and had a stale smell. It needs updating. We ate at the restaurant on the premises and that was good. I didn't think the room was particularly clean, only acceptable. The flower outside the rooms were all dead in our...

This hostel is situated right in town, a stones throw from the main shopping/eating area. It's a cool little retreat surrounded by trees and the mountains. We stayed as part of the Kiwi Experience but were told there were families here too. There's the usual facilities like laundry (plenty of machines, you can buy soap powder at reception) and one...

We spent one night at the Treehouse which offers three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living-and dining room, one toilet with bath tub, separated shower room, laundry room. The house was very well equipped and clean but of rather practical comfort. My wife asks me to point out the NESPRESSO machine - after a few days of instant coffee at other...

Hi Daniel I was very happy to read your review. I too am a big fan of the Nespresso coffee machines in the rooms, its so much better than instant coffee. The reception staff were very happy to read your praise. I hope the rest of the trip is a great success. Thank you Oscar

We arrived at the Rain Forest retreat in the rain in our Campervan, we were given an inital plot only to find a car parked in it, after a quick pop back to reception we were given another plot which suited us better. We enjoyed the restaurant / bar on site. Very enjoyable.

Spent two nights in a tree lodge here at Rainforest retreat. Were pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accommodation - large room with balcony, small kitchenette with dining space. Although we were part of a large complex focussed on backpackers and campers it was peaceful and relaxed where we were. Complex staff were very helpful and friendly. Franz Josef...

Hi Colin Thank you for the review and for choosing to stay in one of out tree lodges. Its good to hear that despite staying in our peak period and with the many tourists here you still found it peacful and relaxing in your tree lodge. I hope you got to enjoy some sun whilst you were here too. Thank...

Hi Wawawa7 Its really nice to hear that you had such a great stay and were so well looked after. We do have a large communal kitchen but it can get busy during peak times in our peak season, we have just purchased another bbq for outside the kitchen to help ease the pressure and we do have 12 hobs...

Stayed at this Retreat for the first time. Was in my Campervan and had my dog with me. We were made very welcome and had a nice quiet spot to plug the Van into. The services were all very good and if you wanted it there was a welcoming restaurant next door.
