In town for the HS State Cheer competition so the hotel was full of teenage cheerleaders. The staff was exceptional handling the crowd. Rooms were clean, large with very comfortable beds. Highly recommend this hotel if in the Macon area.
Booked this room as we have stayed at different SpringHill Suites in the past and have always had great experiences. This time not so much. Got there around 7pm so went straight to dinner and got back to the room around 8:30. Turned on the TV to watch and only 4 channels worked. Called the front desk and was told they would send someone up. 45 minutes later no one had shown up so called again and the guy apologized and said he would personally come up. He never showed up. Ended up just going to bed. In the morning I went to take a shower and the bathroom had no shampoo. The eggs at breakfast were cold and not what I've experienced in the past. Went to the front desk to tell the guy working about the experience the night before regarding the tv and he apologized and said they were extremely busy. Busy doing what? I was in the lobby about 15 minutes before my first call and not a single person there.…
Family of six traveling through from Orlando. We needed something that slept six. They had a double queen room with a pull out bed. I reserved it online for all six of us, and we arrived about 8pm. No bedbugs to be found (yay). There were two towels in the room so we had to go downstairs to get more. We pulled out the sofa bed to find it to be dirty. Stains in couch and a lot of crumbs in it (eww). Speaking of crumbs, found a lot on floor next to headboards along with a few legos. Was thinking that it could use a deep cleaning! Also request a room opposite side of the highway as it does get loud! Went back downstairs for more blankets because there was no way we were letting our kids touch this couch! I believe 3 stars is being nice. Food and lobby were okay. At least they had breakfast. Some places are getting away from it. I’d gladly pay more though for a sparkling clean room.…
This hotel was exceptionally clean. The beds were so comfy I didn't want to get out in the morning! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I spoke with one of the housekeepers and complimented her on the job that they were doing. I then did the same with the manager of the hotel and asked him to make sure the housekeeping staff were told. Guests are quick to complain, but not quick to give credit when it is due. My only complaint was that there was very little choice for breakfast. Just scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patty, biscuits and gravy for the hot breakfast. No toast, bagels, cream cheese or jellies. Just a choice of 3 different cereals and yogurt. There was also apples and bananas.
Everything was great! We marveled at the great design of the suite. Desk, coffee bar, sofa, swiveling TV, comfortable king bed with great linens. Separate room for toilet and “his” sink. Breakfast served 6-9 am. Don’t know if property is new but seemed like it with quite updated design. Right off interstate.
