We travel this way often going from St. Louis to Hilton Head. Always looking for good clean places to stay. I started looking for a place after we passed through Atlanta. So many places with mixed reviews. The reviews on this seemed positive so we thought we’d try it. Excellent choice! Very clean. People were extremely friendly and competent. Check in was very easy. Room was great. We got a king suite because that was all they had left. Breakfast was good. Omelettes , grits, waffles and assorted other stuff. We will definitely write this down for future use
We have stayed in another Hampton Inn nearby for many years. On our last visit there we were not pleased at all with the cleanliness and the working of the bathroom facilities. We decided to try this Hampton Inn as an alternative to the other location. We are so thrilled that we did. This location has it all together. The bathroom was much much better. We had a clean shower that had good hot water and the shower door actually stayed closed. We had clean and fresh towels and a very clean room. The refrigerator was cold and we had good hot coffee in the lobby waiting for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all the information on breakfast the next morning. When we drive to Florida we will definitely be stopping back at this location next time. Thank you Hampton for making it a very comfortable stay.…
My family and I stayed here on our way to our vacation destination. We had 2 separate rooms which were very comfortable (the bed was amazing) and very clean. The hotel was so nice we made reservations to stay on the way back home as well. The problem started when I got back home and was looking at the charges on my credit card, I was charged a fee of $81 for a pet on the trip down. We did not have a pet! I have made multiple calls to the hotel, customer service and was told we were seen sneeking a pet into the hotel. This is not true! One girl at the hotel finally said she would credit the charge and it showed up as pending on my credit card and was then gone but never credited. I will never stay at a Hampton Inn again due to this event and having been given the run a round without a resolution. If they would check their cameras they would see we did not have a pet.…
Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by the front desk staff. However,When we asked for assistance it seemed as though we were an issue. No, we weren't rude or displeasing to the staff when we asked for assistance. We also needed a shower curtain and it never arrived.....
Stayed at this hotel whilst stopping off between 2 cities on a road trip and had low expectations of what to receive- what a mistake this was! Upon checking in, we were greeted by a very warm, welcoming and professional staff member (unfortunately I didn't manage to catch her name- but thank you!). The building seemed clean with the room very well equipped for the price paid. Breakfast the next morning offered a greater variety compared to some higher-end hotels stayed in during the same trip. Overall, i was very pleased with the stay at the Hampton!
This is the third time I've stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Macon GA. The service has always been good. During my current stay, the general manager, Ms. Collins made sure that I had everything that was expected during my stay. The television in my room didn't work, which wasn't a huge deal for me since this is a work trip and I use the tv mainly for the "noise". Ms. Collins worked to repair the service herself, and when that wasn't successful, she moved me to a different room. It wasn't just that Ms. Collins ensured I had everything I needed, but she did it with a great attitude and was super accommodating. I don't always see this in my travels. Thank you again Hampton Inn, for providing the service that you advertise. I will be back.
This Hampton Inn is very overpriced!! The rooms are cheaply done and dark and the building looks very old. We should have stayed at one of the other establishments which were in that same area. The mattress was good so that helps but it just looked so old.
Super clean, loved the big king suite and they put us on the first floor near the door so we could easily take out pup outside. Lots of parking, looks like a newer area. Very quiet. Restaurants all around. Easy access to I75. Would stay here again.
We stopped here on our way to the beach. It was late when we arrived. The desk staff were nice and it was a quick process. Room was huge. It did have a strange smell at first which I think was the air conditioner but it was very clean. Bed was comfortable and I never heard another guest in the hall or next door. I didn’t eat breakfast but my husband did and he said it was good and they had plenty of everything. We would stay here again.
I came downstairs as my husband was sleeping To ask for an actual gym key The young lady didn’t wear a name tag however she worked this morning it was about 9:30 am and I wanted to get in the gym. I showed her and told her the name and room number that I was in and showed her the link to the app he sent me to get mobile key access but because I’m not a hilton member I couldn’t log in. So she told me I am unable to give you a key because he needs to add my name. Customer service one on one Make effort call the room and then verify and give me a key. She didn’t even try to help me and was very distant and non caring no effort to assist me at all. I train and do reviews when traveling and this customer service needs to improve. She had no name tag and was not Caucasian. It’s sad how you treat people, maybe this career isn’t for you. Learn how to assist all customers in any situation when dealing with people.
