We are Marriott Bonvoy members and the proximity to the highway was the reason for selecting this hotel. We have stayed at many Courtyard hotels. We had one previous experience where we had been given an connecting room and we had been assured that there would be notation on our file that this type of accommodation didn't work for us. At this hotel, our door to the connecting room was not locked. We locked it although we weren't sure that the lock was engaged as the connection didn't sit flat on the lock. At 1:00 am, we were awakened to out neighbour turning the lock on their side of the connecting door then spent the next 2 hours listening to them laugh and party as if they were in our room. We are not certain if they left their side of the connecting door open but we believe the connecting doors are the Courtyard hotels do not provide appropriate sound insulation to ensure a reasonable sleep. We mentioned to the front desk staff that there was a problem especially because we had a 14 hour drive ahead of us. The response was "sorry" and surprisingly we didn't not get a request from Marriott to review our stay at this hotel. In addition to our inadequate sleep, the hotel was dirty and tired. DO NOT STAY HERE.…
The front desk staff treated me great. I got a room I wanted and on the floor I wanted. I went out to grab dinner at Outback and when I returned, I asked for a wine glass, and she would not stop until she found one. It took a few minutes, but she found it and it made my dinner perfect after a hard day. I will stay again. Pillows were awesome and the bed was good.
Do NOT stay here. Our truck was broken into and so were several others. The hotel management refused to help us or accept any responsibility. They said they have a sign in the parking lot that says park at your own risk. What a disaster! Avoid this area and this hotel!!!
This hotel is fine for what it is. Staff is friendly. That’s where it ends. Whomever owns it is full of nothing but GREED. How can you justify spending $325 a night for a Courtyard that’s not even updated to the current Courtyard standards? It has the old early 2000s Courtyard decor and the price is usually between $120-$150. That’s about all it’s worth. Cheer competition in town so let’s make all the money we can. Totally ridiculous. There is nothing in this hotel worth that. The clock in our room is even still wrong, so that tells me there’s no attention to detail when cleaning.
We stayed here twice in a month because we were so happy on the first visit. The young woman at the desk is super nice and efficient. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It's nice to have coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave and a couch to sit on. The bed was very comfortable. Nearby are several restaurants & stores. We didn't eat at the hotel I highly recommend this Courtyard by Marriott in Macon GA.
This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed at in 43 years on this planet. A third world country would have better amenities and cleanliness. There was fecal matter on the office chair, fecal matter on the roll of toilet paper that obviously wasn't changed by housekeeping. The entire room smelled of mold and mildew and mold was growing on ceiling. It was so damp in the room that the sheets felt wet!!!!and it actually ruined my phones charging port from dampness!! On top of all this I attempted to use coffee pot however inside was a leftover coffee pack that had MOLD growing on it and obviously wasn't checked by housekeeping in weeks!!! When staff was notified of these issues we were offered 40 dollars off of our stay or told we could LEAVE. After driving for as long as we did we had no desire to repack our belongings and go to a different hotel but should have because after sleeping on the pull out couch with springs in my back all night and waking up with the sinus headache I would have been better off sleeping in my car!! Dirty, unprofessional and it should be torn down!!…
Rude, hateful, dishonest, unprofessional staff works at this location, including Charlisa McKay ( GM), Sharnese Axson, Natasha, and the housekeeping employees. I stayed at this location in July of 2022 for two nights while passing through from Miami to Atlanta. I am an Elite Marriott member. Upon arrival, I was extremely tired having just drove more than 10 hours from Miami, I expected a clean comfortable room to rest. That's not what I got. I was assigned room #336.It was DIRTY. The bathroom had not been clean, from the previous stay, the tub had dirt stains, a used wet washcloth was hanging over the shower curtain and the bed linen had nasty black stains, the room was very hot and had a strong musty, moldy odor to it. I notified the front desk and was meet with rude, lazy, unprofessional staff from the manager down. I paid over $124 per night for this room. I want a full refund. In addition, the hotel overcharged me $600. How deceptive. I was not aware of the overcharge until I checked my account. I was not able to use my debit card for 5 days because of this unauthorized overcharge. I contacted Marriott customer care to file a complaint. I received a response from the GM stating that I was comped one night credit. I want a full refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. CONSUMERS BEWARE OF THE DECEPTIVE BILLING CHARGES, UNCLEAN ROOMS, FALSE ADVERTISING OF CLEAN SANTIZED ROOMS. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK.…
We always stop here on our way to Florida, and it is perfect for a quick overnight. It isn't anything fancy, but is always comfortable and clean. The staff is always friendly when we roll in at midnight, and quick to check us in. We will be back!
We were traveling from MI to FL and stayed one night. 2 adults 2 teens. Pictures are true and accurate but the hotel is not great. Walls thin, feels old with just a fresh coat of paint. Pool is outdoors and teens wouldn’t use it. The most unfriendly lady was at the “restaurant”. She would have been ok to deal w but it’s not a restaurant- it’s a microwave and heat up type food area. Overpriced. We went to the Italian grill down the street. Location is a good spot. For the price, I won’t come back.
This is an older but partially renovated property. The Lobby is good, the elevator is a ridiculous distance from the lobby (with no housekeeping you have to swap towels at the check-in), and the bathrooms are the 2-area bathtub style.
