Hotel is old, not kept up, dirty. Staff not helpful. Checked into a room not made up with garbage on floor. The location is great, with some excellent restaurant choices but there are a lot of other hotels there. I would recommend any one of them.....but not this one!

This is the worst laquinta I've stayed at. Walked into room and walked right out. Water stains on walls and bathroom didn't look clean. The beds looked slept in.This hotel needs updating bad. I've stayed at numerous different laquinta Hotels and never had a problem.

It is not like us to deliver poor accommodations and we will work our hardest to get back to the standard we are known for. We have implemented many new guidelines and procedures for cleaning in our hotel rooms. We focus on "high touch" areas that could harbor germs, and have implemented additional cleanings of those areas, in addition to other steps we are taking around the hotel, to protect our guests and staff members. Where do I begin? Let me start by saying I used to be a manager in several hotels so I understand A LOT. What I cannot understand is: 1. Your front desk staff doesn't offer a welcoming experience...except Quinn. She was amazing and I told her so. She smiled the entire time I talked with her, which I needed. 2. How do you NOT have enough extra towels available since you're too cheap to start back limited housekeeping services? That trash sat from Thursday to Sunday. 3. I had TWO rooms. Why did one room have a missing partition/wall???? That makes absolutely no sense that you would sell that room like that and not offer a discount at least! 4. The second room had gnats/fruit flies all over the place. Hundreds of dead bugs in the window. We had to keep our food and drinks covered after every bite/sip. Super annoying to have to fight them off the entire time. 5. The bathroom floor was DIRTY! I had to put a towel down to keep from stepping on the floor. 6. The carpet was dirty...in the room and especiallyin the hallways! Just look in the corner where the nightstand is. Filth! 7. Half the outlets didn't work. 8. Doors are NOT locked 24 hours a day! A lot of weed smell throughout. 9. Since when does a hotel not ask for ID when handing out room keys???? Unfortunately, I was told there were no more suites available so I couldn't change from what I prepaid for because I needed the extra space. Overall, I would NOT stay there again until you offered your staff more training, complete your renovations, and make sure your employees are taken care of and have the support they need. Have y'all tried listening to your staff....because I did and the company sucks! Once the renovation is done, this review will get removed. Until then.....

Please read all reviews prior to reserving the room. I did not. The only 5 star goes to the sweet woman who checked us in at 10 o'clock on Nov 26. Although there are signs that note the hotel is under construction, I don't know if that's the case. And to pay $80+ for the night is absolutely unacceptable considering there are plenty of options in the area. The hotel is run down and very dirty. The exterior speaks volumes of what to expect. The room and common areas are not renovation dirty, but no one cleans here dirty. The bathroom has mold. The tub does not drain. The walls are chipped and dirty. We did not go to another hotel because we had just drove 15 hours and we were in no shape to find another bed. Speaking of beds, both were well worn in the middle causing a depression in the mattress. And don't expect the pictured hot breakfast because they're using Covid as the reason for a bagged continental option. Did I mention this cost us $80+?! If I'm ever in the area again, I will not stay here. Even if "renovated".

I won't stay at this location again. Run down building and grounds. Surprise charge for pets. The two LaQuinta's we stayed at right before arriving at Macon, Ga. were pet friendly, providing nice areas to walk your pet and supplied poop bags. Macon location was rutted with weeds and holes everywhere and no bags. The luggage cart(only one) had flat tires. The coffee machine in the room was inop. The manager was VERY unfriendly. The breakfast was the worst I'd ever seen.they have a sign saying undergoing renovation, thinking that was an excuse to be rude, and not keeping the place clean. There were no signs of construction. I later saw reviews from some time ago stating the same thing
