I did not want to stay in Atlanta, so I opted to drive about an hour farther south and stay in Macon, Georgia. As a fan of LaQuinta, I liked this hotel ... as it offered the standards that I have come to expect with larger hotel chains. The staff was friendly, and although I was not upgraded to a suite ... the young lady at the desk clearly (and politely) explained that every room was reserved. The room was well-kept, and the breakfast was well-stocked, and the overall facility was clean and maintained. The only issue was the contractor work happening outside the main entrance. The construction equipment blocked each handicap parking space, causing those with mobility issues to park in the main lot ... with no ramp access, except by the front door. This did not affect me; however, an elderly gentleman and his wife openly shared with me their disappointment ... and they visually struggled with returning the luggage cart. Hope this can be corrected to accommodate those with accessibility needs / desires.…
I’ve stayed at this hotel at least 8 times very recently and I go back because I love it here; however the TVs never work so tonight I decided to stay at another hotel just to avoid trying. Everything else is amazing here
Bed bugs and alot of them. Found the next morning. Staff had no plans to.resolve issue. Only offered points to my account. Found bugs on my work clothes. Had an unexpected trip to the laundromat. Very unhappy whit the stay.
Was stayed during my business/personal trip at LaQuinta and my stay was really good. Front desk staff Imani was so helpful and knowledgeable. Room was very clean and fresh with good fresh minty fragrance.
The rooms were nice and clean we needed some extra towels and that wasn't a issue the lady at the front brought us some down in a timely manner like she said. The breakfast was good,as we checked up the young lady was still there from over night shift and still had a smile on her face like she just came in she was a delight. Kay was her name we will be staying here again soon.
So it’s kind of misleading. Lobby is perfect but then after that is where it begins lol. Only one door in or out the rest of them have emergency alarms on them. Then only one elevator working and it’s super gross. It smells nasty sour and is super dirty. The room is ok but doesn’t have a fridge or microwave so sucks for staying more than one night. The bathroom not so good. Used toilet paper roll for me to use. The shower pressure not good but good enough to make stand in ankle deep water taking a shower lol. Yuck. There was a several lightbulbs out in the room making it super dark and hard to get ready for work. The bed was comfortable but after several days the mattress felt like it was loosing its fluffiness. The curtains were dirty and so were the white pulls to pull the curtains open and close. And did I already mention no fridge or microwave 🤦♀️…
Was there end of September for a few days, the carpet got wet (very wet) and never did get dryed the entire time we were there. There were paint chips on the bathroom floor that should have been cleaned before we checked in. The ice maker was broken the entire time, The fridge in room needed defrosting and was not clean. Only 1 trash can in the entire room.
I checked into a room and the smell was horrible. They were very nice and offered me another room. I moved. The TV in that room did not work and the broken toilet seat about landed me on the floor. Again the staff was nice and move me again. This room is ok except for the patched broken window. The door lock is also messed up. Long and short, this motel is in desperate need of a remodel.
Stay at your own risk! I'd bet the entire family allowed to work as clerk and housekeeping fails drug testing. Intrusive, disrespectful and rowdy individuals. This place certainly has a lawsuit on it's horizon
First night I stayed in 236 had no issues and enjoyed it. Second night stayed in 244 and the tv didn’t work due to be box being plugged into the light switch so when you go to turn off the lights the tv shuts off too then when I went to get in the bed the sheets wreaked of pee.
