Upon checking in after a long 12 hour drive arriving around 10:30pm the customer service was awful from the front desk clerk. Melvin I believe was her name. She could of cared less that we were there. She mocked me regarding our room request, which made me really uncomfortable. I then had to ask where the room was and she never told us what time breakfast was or anything. All o have to say is that it’s really easy to be friendly and could have made our trip so much more enjoyable. If you don’t like you job than leave!!! You were rude however there was an amazing guest or lady that was sitting out in the lobby who was so thoughtful and friendly. I feel she was trying to make up for the ladies attitude. Then one we got to our room I was not impressed! Dirty curtains, countertops and the chair in room 113 needs to be thrown away! Also there was no room to get out of the bed as it was shoved next to the ac. Also please clean your refrigerator and bathroom, GROSS. I love choice hotels however this was not a good one to stop after a long drive heading to Florida. It’s always a challenge to find something off the highway but afford this one!…
A early stop turned into a late night stop due to traffic around Atlanta. Comfort fit the bill, they had a room and it was an ok price, but one mention of AARP and I got a nice discount no hassle whatsoever! The room was nice with all the amenities, comfortable bed seating area, and large screen TV. The bonus was a really nice breakfast of eggs, sausage, waffles, cereals, muffins, toast and fruit, coffee and juice, easily $ 7-10 at a restaurant! The only reason not to get a higher score was pool and hot tub were out of service, even though I never planned on using them, front desk should mention it to prospective guests! Nice easy on and off I-75 gas, food, sundries all close by.
We spent one night on our drive back home and based our decision on staying from the Very Good and Excellent reviews from various online sources; Plus it advertises that they are New Construction. Well we give it a "D", from the moment we stepped in the Lobby, it was Dark, Dingy, damp smelling and Dated. Even when stepped off the elevator the Damp smell was everywhere. Luckily the room was clean, but I still sprayed Lysol. Again, we based our decision to spend night based on so many positive reviews, but we wouldn't stay there again if we were in the area. You be the judge.
From the time you walk in you get a smell that follows you everywhere you go throughout the hotel. Everywhere is dirty. Seems there is no real pride in cleanliness. Owners need to do so much better!!!
The Comfort Inn & Suites on Harrison Road in Macon, Georgia is fantastic. Courteous staff. Courteous manager. Beautiful. Quiet. Great beds. Super clean! I've marked this hotel as one of my very favorites.
Online ad for low $87/night. After booking I received the emailed receipt for a total cost of $133.28. Included in the cost was a $45.28 tax recovery fee. I never saw the additional expense specified anywhere prior to submitting my credit card info. I immediately called to cancel, and they explained that I chose a non-cancellation rate!
We are a family of 6, we wanted to book one room because we knew we would fit comfortably in the 2 queen beds, the front lady said we couldn’t fit. We were driving for 10 hours and very tired and sleepy and she refused, we had to keep on driving, and we found a GOOD HOTEL to help us out! Lobby lady was very rude and seem like she wasn’t happy to serve us when we walked in
Rooms in some disrepair. Peeling wallpaper. Gouges is drywall. Stain on carpet in hall. Room not as clean as would have liked. Dust on cabinet behind tv. Heating/Cooling grill dirty. Exhaust fan in bathroom runs continually and is somewhat loud. When asked about this was told it was city code. Recliner in room was broken down. Breakfast staff was excellent and food was good. Upon leaving was approached by panhandler who was working the parking lot. Overall not a good experience.
We had a king suite which is really just an oversized room. It was spacious and clean. Included free breakfast was the normal fare. Very nice front desk staff. Overall it is quiet and a good option for the price.
Here’s a hotel that’s only 4 years old and has not been kept that clean We walked into room with hair in sink, all over back of toilet and floor There was loud noise in room next to us and they didn’t do anything after I complained twice I will never go back to this particular one The breakfast was not that great too They should have to adhere to Choice privilege standards
