I've stayed here 3 or 4 times now. It's conviently located right on the highway and close to Safeway (with a starbucks in it) which is an important factor for me. I believe each room comes with a kitchen and there are actual bedrooms with doors which is great. Not the quietiest place but very clean every time I've stayed....

I have stayed here 4 times and plan on staying every time I come to Port Angeles, about once a month. I smoke, and never has a smoking room smelled like a smoking room when I check in. They clean the rooms very well, never a sign of any dirt, even in the kitchen. Having the full kitchen there is...

The rooms are nice and large and clean, very small TV and hard bed, the second night we removed the two quilts and put them on the bottom of the bed two make the mattress a little more softer which helped the second night! This property is right on Hwy 101 and it's very busy.

We figured that on a Sunday evening we would fine less expensive lodging in Port Angeles. We were wrong. So we checked out the budget motels in town and found this one on the highway. Sure it's older, but everything was clean and neat and half the price of the Quality Inn. The owner is a man of few words...

If you're expecting anything but the basics you'll be disappointed. If that's OK, you'll enjoy it here. Most importantly, the room was VERY clean, spotless really. It's an affordable alternative to the higher prices places in town and believe me, the motel rates here are exceedingly high in the summer tourist season. I rated it 3 starts and would've gone...

Its out of town, but you drive up to the room, it has what is needed to keep dry on a cold/ rainy day, old fashioned sheets, that are clean and I think some rooms have kitchenettes and a table, so, for a family, that had to cancel camping plans, was just the ticket,,, and affordable. Downtown is not close...

I am so glad I stumbled upon the website for this old-school, family-run motel a few miles east of the ferry terminal on Highway 101. I really wanted to avoid the high prices of the chain motels with mediocre reviews. My family just needed a clean and affordable place to sleep after a day touring Olympic National Park and before...

Positives: roomy, full kitchen, plenty of hot water, for this area in the summer, the price was lower than a nicer place, but then, it would have been a nicer place.....Negatives: Very hard beds, no microwave, noisy on the street, the heater was stuck on in the bedroom (we called and she gave us instructions to just turn it down...

On the main 101 Hwy through town this motel was clean and perfect for a single person seeking a reasonably priced alternative to the big chain operations. The only downside is no AC. This was not a problem for me, but if it got hot, you might think twice.

We needed a place for our family for one night. The Sportsman was the only place available and because the price was low, I was worried it would be a disappointment. It wasn't!!! The Sportsman was perfect. The rooms were spotless, the beds comfortable, the staff polite, and the location great!! We consider ourselves lucky to find this place and...
