Dear Aaron N, Unfortunately, the elevator disruption was beyond the hotel's control and the time was just plain bad for everyone! Having said that, I am frustrated that our guest service staff was not helpful in finding you a luggage cart, which are in high demand during busy check in days. Paul More

Very deceptive. Upon check-in, I very clearly asked if the breakfast was "complimentary" and included in the cost of the room. The clerk said "yes, the breakfast is included and is served in the restaurant down the hall from 6 to 9". We arrived at 8:30 with no hostess on site, just a large buffet style of typical hotel breakfast... More

Dear JonErik S, Thank you for your comments. I apologize that it was unclear if your room rate included our breakfast buffet. It sounds like the front desk agent was less than helpful in assisting you with your concerns regarding the charge, for which I am truly sorry. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to improve our guest service.... More

Check in staff not friendly. Rooms are nice and updated. They must of ran out of money before they could fox the bathrooms though. Very dated with patch work tiles the wrong color. Had to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes to get towels for the hot tub. Went down to enjoy the hot tub, but the water was... More

Little disappointed in the size of the room. For $198 a night I would have expected much more. We were in a corner room by the stairs which cut into the size of our room. Wouldn't have stayed here if we had any other options, but Salt Lake City was full all over town. Would recommend staying somewhere else. We... More

Three of us stayed at the Red Lion Hotel for 5 night in September 2013. We are planning another visit to Salt Lake City and would have no problem recommending this older hotel. The only draw back for us was that our first room was near an elevator which made a lot of noise. We got our room changed (with... More

This hotel is obviously older, but it was fine and served its purpose. I found it fairly clean, but the windows were quite dirty, as was the curtain: I thought I might even be seeing mildew. It's a no frills place, really, but I can't complain for the price, the free parking and internet ... and it was nice and... More

Have stayed here twice in the last 2 months. This hotel is in need of structural help. The front desk staff is great but the building itself is in need of a face lift. Stayed the weekend of Oct 18th.... Front counter was nice & helpful.. Main complaint is that it felt dirty from the bugs crawling around..Stink type bugs on the ceiling and all over the liner of the curtain. There were about 15 the first day that we killed. With that...the room felt dirty. The used tampon dispenser laying in the hallway... More
