Went to SLC in September. Stayed at the Plaza for a week. This was our first trip to the City. The hotel was very clean. Our room was on the 13th floor and over looked Temple Square with the mountains in the background. What a sight! The people were fantastic, caring, and helpful. The restaurant on the ground floor was...

This hotel is in an excellent location: it is across the street from Temple Square, Kitty-corner from the downtown shopping center, and across another street from the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Symphony. Directly behind the hotel is the Family History Library - mecca for ancestral research (the hotel actually has a back door the provides even easier access...

Hotel is in a great location very near Temple Square with free TRAX downtown rail just outside the front door. Room furniture sufficient though showing quite a bit of wear along with the wallpaper. Rates were reasonable. The free airport shuttle was a 30 minute wait. The driver was polite and personable. Considered just taking TRAX which probably would have...

WE were in SLC for a conference and on Sunday evening we looked for a restaurant. Could we find one? No we could not. So we ended up at the Plaza Hotel restaurant. There was hardly anyone there. There was a buffet there but that looked days old! So we opted out to have al a cart. We had some...

My wife and I live close to Salt Lake, but for that quick getaway we love the Plaza. My wife has MS and because the Plaza is so close to shopping, Temple Square, symphony hall and more, it is the only place we go to. Thanks Plaza for offering great rooms at a great price.

Spent only one day & night at the Plaza, but was well worth the cost. The location is perfect for touring Temple Square. We were able to take in a recital & practice of the Tabernacle Choir, visit the Family History Library, tour the Church of the Ladder Day Saints, and enjoy dining downtown. The staff checking in were most...

This hotel was booked for a genealogy conference that a friend and I signed up to attend. The accommodations are comfortable. We especially like having two sinks for getting ready in the morning. We couldn't ask for a better location! When heading out the back door it's less than 200 steps to the biggest genealogy library in the world. It's...

I was here with a genealogy group to do research at the Family History Library. The hotel couldn't have a better location! Right next door to the library. And Temple Square is just across the street, and the TRAX is right outside the door. The hotel is clean, room had a microwave and fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and...

The hotel was nice, had an outside pool but inside hot tubs, refrigerator, microwave. City was too big, hard to navigate around, but only stayed one night. Diner attached to hotel had a good breakfast. It was a buffet. Dinner was diner type food. Salad bar was good.
