If you're looking for a super upscale hotel, this isn't the best Marriott in Salt Lake, but the location, close to the University of Utah and all of the big hospitals at the U or the VA hospital, is great. The hotel is certainly nice and the staff really good at customer service. They have special rates for medical visitors,...

I am a long standing Platinum Marriott Rewards customer. I rarely reach out to the GM of a property, but I felt compelled to do so as one of your employees, Denise, really went above and beyond expectations to make our stay excellent. The long and short of it is I was in SLC for business last week and my...

We came to Salt Lake City at the last minute due to an emergency with our daughter. Arrived late on a Thursday evening. We had No reservations, the staff at this Marriott was very accommodating. Got us settled in one your wonderfully clean rooms in record time. The next morning we went down for breakfast and was greeted by Clayton...

The hotel is great hotel and location (on the University of Utah campus, near hospitals). A complimentary shuttle is also available for multiple restaurants and local attractions. The renovations look up to date. The room is clean and comfortable. Best beds!! The staff (front desk, Starbucks, housekeeping and bar) is really what makes the ENTIRE experience!

I gave this hotel four stars for the cleanliness of the room and very good front desk service. You can tell it's a renovated older hotel -- nothing special about the rooms although the beds were super comfy. We did not get a chance to utilize the pool and workout area. The included breakfast buffet was standard greasy fare and...

I had a great stay for a week of business at this hotel. It is close to the University of Utah in a beautiful area called Research Park. The front desk was helpful; an employee named Isaac was notably professional and cordial. The room was clean and spacious and the concierge level was well kept and stocked, open at useful...

This hotel's location adjacent to the U of U, Primary Children's Hospital, University Hospital and not far from the zoo is out of the city hustle and bustle just a bit. The bench location is wonderful in the winter as it is often above the smog, providing beautiful sunny days. The interior is modern and fresh, includes a great Starbucks,...

Reservation process was smooth, as was online check-in. (Federal travelers beware-tax exempt status does not apply unless paid by CBA cards). The courtesy van will take you anywhere within 2 miles. But if you ask for 2.3 miles (as my colleagues and I did), the answer is a quite firm "no," along with some testiness if you persist. I stayed...

Andrew P, Thank you for your review and recent stay with us here at the Marriott University Park. I can understand your disappointment with the shuttle range not be further extended beyond the 2 mile radius and assure you extending the shuttle range has been reviewed, tested and tried and we have found that 2 miles is what works best...

I booked this hotel thanks to its proximity to skiing in park City and Deer Valley, where the prices are ridiculous, starting at $ 300+ per night. This Marriott was around $ 100 and within 35 minutes drive I was on the slopes. There is a nice indoor swimming pool and a Starbucks for breakfast. Ample free parking and a...

Had a function at the university this weekend and decided to stay at a Convenient location. This is a pretty nice hotel, the lobby is beautiful. The rooms are updated. Beds are comfortable. Pool/exercise area is exceptional. Now for the negatives. Walls are paper thin. Heard talking, any trip to the bathroom, and kids stomping around from the adjacent rooms....

Thank you Sumnereli for your review and your recent stay with us. I am disappointed to hear that your experience with the front desk staff was not exceptional. We pride ourselves on the staff that we maintain and more often then not receive positive feedback regarding the staff. Please know that your feedback has been shared with the appropriate team...
