Great view, wonderful breakfast, cozy place to stay. David and Lynne were extremely accomodating and very helpful in getting our large group to and from the river for a wonderful day of floating. The are also located a few miles from Big Springs State Park which is a beautiful place to hike. Highly recommended for a weekend get away.

Been a few years since we have been back, but, Dave and Lynne's rentals are still the best value and experience in town. Always clean, hummingbirds galore, food is delicious (we did breakfast and dinner), spectacular view, and friendly atmosphere. We floated the river using their tubes and transportation, good deal.

Just the view from the back deck made this a great choice. Don't miss the sunsets! It is close to Van Buren and the Elk Refuge and less than 60 min to the famous Alley Mill and boating/rafting on the Current or Jacks Fork Rivers. The dinner was way better than a restaurant -- amazing filet mignon while enjoying the view from the deck. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast! A great place to relax after a day on the river.

Our family of 6 spent 2 nights and were very comfortable. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Beautiful view made all the more fun by the hummingbirds. Lots of thoughtful details. Owners made our tubing experience effortless. Very good value!

Hard to find, but well worth the trouble. Phone number is not on the site. Call them at 314-277-8313. Great views and delicious breakfast! You can even do "dinner on the deck". We had Mardi Gras Pasta. It was terrific! Don't take my word for it, try it yourself.

Our family just got back from our stay at Skyline Bed and Breakfast while we were in town for the weekend for a vacation on the Current River. My sister in law found this place on a Google search and we all loved our stay! The attention to detail is remarkable! Everything you could need from pots and pans, dishes, coffee maker, refrigerator, stove, microwave, tons for extra sheets, blankets, pillows, bath time soaps, shampoo and conditioner. There is even a washer and dryer!!! Everything you would need is in this quaint well maintained bed and breakfast! All anyone needs to bring is their own food and drink. The owners were very nice! Had fresh baked cookies waiting for us upon our arrival. We will most certainly be back and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay while vising the area! I might mention that we had 4 teenagers and a 3 year old with us and the two lofts we rented held our two families just nicely! Truly a gem that over looks the Current River. …

You won't go wrong staying here! This was a girls only family trip, we came to spend a day tubing and hanging out. Due to the flood earlier in the year almost all the places to eat were still closed. Dave and Lynne not only fixed wonderful breakfasts for us but they cooked us an amazing supper one night! The food, accommodations and hospitality were absolutely the best! We will definitely come back to stay here!

Wow cannot even begin to explain how amazing this place is!!!! The view is incredible the breakfast was outstanding...and most importantly the Rountrees are.absolutely amazing people!!! So neat to talk with and so very nice! They were so so awesome!!! I Highly recommend this stay to anyone!!! If you are looking for a peaceful getaway this is it!!! 😍 We will definitely return!!!

This is by far the best place to stay in Van Buren. From the 50 mile view of gorgeous scenery including the river valley, to the bird feeders all around inviting all kinds of different birds including sometimes dozens of hummingbirds, there is always something beautiful to look at. If you enjoy float trips or just hanging at the river it is only a couple miles to drive to the water. My family has stayed here every summer since it first opened and will continue to visit for many years to come.

Spent lots of time on the front porch watching the constantly changing views. There is lots of attention to details on the inside that we were still discovering the last day. Chilled mugs n the freezer, coffee for us to make. We loved it and will make a return trip just to sit on the front porch.
