absolutely disgusting. There were bugs in the room. We found hair on the sheets so the sheets were not changed from the previous guest. The carpet was dirty. the room was extremely hot because the A/C was off so it took almost an hour for the room to cool off. In the Texas heat, the A/C should be left on around 80 degrees so there can be some air circulation in the room so it doesn't take long to cool when the guest arrives. The furniture was damaged. The fridge was covered in mildew and stank. The swimming pool had green water. This was the worst budget Inn hotel I have ever stayed in. I would definitely recommend for anyone not to stay here.
Well it was okay for the price I guess. The manager was nice and helped me find a restaurant nearby. After I took my shower I noticed hair in the sink. I was settled in so I did not complain. The soap came in tiny packages. The breakfast was free but it was just some store bought pastries and stale cornflakes and some other kids cereal. I am glad I saved my rolls from the restaurant the night before.
The room was HUGE. The bathroom was clean and the sheets were clean, but the carpet was filthy. One of the blankets had something stuck to it (pink and sticky). Both bed covererings were stained. We were afraid to use them, so we put them on the floor. Nobody ever came by to straighten up our room and give us fresh towels. I had to go down to the smelly lobby to get more. I never could get the Wi-Fi to work. The first morning (Saturday), I went down to see what they offered for breakfast and there was only two types of cereal out at 7:30. Their sign states that they have breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30, no exceptions, but they sure didn't have anything out but cereal when I went down there. Sunday morning they had a few unwrapped muffins and a few other pastries but we were afraid to eat it considering the cleanliness of the overall motel. We will be visiting Corpus Christi a lot more in the future because our son will be going to college down there, but we definitely will not be staying at this hotel ever again.…
The hotel is right across from the beach. However, I found two live roaches in the restroom!!! The room was decent size and had two queen size beds. The carpet was dirty and stained. My niece was walking barefoot and her feet were black after 30 minutes!!!!
Maybe the nastiest dirtiest room I've ever stayed at. And I wasn't alone, as several huge cockroaches were there. I got a little water from the shower on the floor. Attached pic was the towel floor mat I used to dry the 5x5 floor.
It is near the beach so that's a positive. Also, it had a decent, clean bathroom. We didn't have a choice but to take a smoking room & you could smell the smoke & the deodorizer they use to try to mask it; both of us got very congested and headaches. The carpet and chairs were stained and dirty. It was very noisy, people coming & going at all hours, doors slamming, kids yelling, people talking loudly. I could't wait to get out of there & take a good shower & wash clothes. Oh, and $100/night for a queen bed..very expensive. I would never stay there again
I only stayed a day but that was enough to know that I won't be coming back, first of all was expensive and they changed me $ 5.00 cash as a deposit money that I didn't get back, it's really old, at room was some kind of smell unpleasant, bed was uncomfortable, then only good thing is beach is right in front of it but for that money you can find better place to stay
If you are looking for luxury, look elsewhere. This is a clean mom and pop motel with the friendliest, most helpful housekeeping staff I've ever encountered. The rooms are spacious but dated, and the free continental breakfast is on the small side but sufficient. But let's face it, you don't stay here for amenities - it's all about location. The hotel is across the street from the beach!
Great pricing and right in front of the beach. Clerk at front desk was very helpful and friendly. The house keeping was very attentive. Room was clean and spacious with microwave, mini fridge and stove. A/C worked great, a little too good if you ask me. I was freezing! My husband enjoyed it. No breakfast though :(
Stayed in room 110 and my son and daughter woke with bedbug bites and I woke up with one live one on my chest ! Told management and they didn't look surprised, and was told they'd "investigate" despite bringing the live bug and my son with the bites. Never again will I ever stay there the first time in 10 years of going to the coast that I've ever had the problem. We ended up throwing away all are clothes and luggage. What a horrible experience !
