Well it was okay for the price I guess. The manager was nice and helped me find a restaurant nearby. After I took my shower I noticed hair in the sink. I was settled in so I did not complain. The soap came in tiny packages. The breakfast was free but it was just some store bought pastries and stale cornflakes and some other kids cereal. I am glad I saved my rolls from the restaurant the night before.
The room was HUGE. The bathroom was clean and the sheets were clean, but the carpet was filthy. One of the blankets had something stuck to it (pink and sticky). Both bed covererings were stained. We were afraid to use them, so we put them on the floor. Nobody ever came by to straighten up our room and give us fresh towels. I had to go down to the smelly lobby to get more. I never could get the Wi-Fi to work. The first morning (Saturday), I went down to see what they offered for breakfast and there was only two types of cereal out at 7:30. Their sign states that they have breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30, no exceptions, but they sure didn't have anything out but cereal when I went down there. Sunday morning they had a few unwrapped muffins and a few other pastries but we were afraid to eat it considering the cleanliness of the overall motel. We will be visiting Corpus Christi a lot more in the future because our son will be going to college down there, but we definitely will not be staying at this hotel ever again.…
The hotel is right across from the beach. However, I found two live roaches in the restroom!!! The room was decent size and had two queen size beds. The carpet was dirty and stained. My niece was walking barefoot and her feet were black after 30 minutes!!!!
Maybe the nastiest dirtiest room I've ever stayed at. And I wasn't alone, as several huge cockroaches were there. I got a little water from the shower on the floor. Attached pic was the towel floor mat I used to dry the 5x5 floor.
It is near the beach so that's a positive. Also, it had a decent, clean bathroom. We didn't have a choice but to take a smoking room & you could smell the smoke & the deodorizer they use to try to mask it; both of us got very congested and headaches. The carpet and chairs were stained and dirty. It was very noisy, people coming & going at all hours, doors slamming, kids yelling, people talking loudly. I could't wait to get out of there & take a good shower & wash clothes. Oh, and $100/night for a queen bed..very expensive. I would never stay there again
