Imagine visiting an artist's home, decorated with a huge indescribable tower over the main gate and art and sculpture everywhere you look, indoors and out. Now imagine the artist built a dozen one and two bedrooms around the perimeter of the property for his artist friends to visit and live in. These apartments are where you will stay. The compound... I don't know where to start, so I'll just give letter grades: Service: F Cleanliness: C- Atmosphere: D Where we're you folks that left a positive review staying, because it wasn't here! Never again will I stay here, or recommend to others. I'd rather stay at a Motel 6, at least I'd get a smile.

This was a hard place to review, because of the extremes. The breakfasts were fantastic, served in a very pleasant room off the lobby. Not only are there all the hotel standards (yoghurt, granola, instant oatmeal, dry cereal, toast, bagels, coffee, juice, etc.), the cook came from the kitchen to take orders from each table for eggs any style, omelets... We made a reservation based on photos via the internet. The B&B is easy to find, just one block south of Central Ave. and Rio Grande. The structures are old style Santa Fe, in a unique layout. The buildings are quite old and in need of restoration. The casitas are noted as historical, but vast improvements need to be made.... More

The grounds are immense and I imagine quite beautiful in the late spring/summer. We stayed in La Cascada. It was clean, but showed its age. The bed and sofa were new. The bed was comfortable and was its saving grace. It has a good location for Old Town and is OK if you aren't planning on spending much time in... More

Casas de Suneos is a great hotel in Albuquerque. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood about a 5-minute walk from Old Town. The people running the hotel are friendly and accomodating. At this hotel, you are housed in a casita (little house), and each one is different. Ours was "Kachina" and it was wonderfully appointed. There was a living... More

The place has true personality! Our casita was beautifully decorated. It included a living room, a full kitchen, a beautiful bathroom with a cast iron bath tub, and a bedroom with a little skylight on top of a California king bed. There were a lot of cute details, like the complimentary toiletries and snacks. The whole casita was spotless. Now... More

I live in Albuquerque, and am originally from Santa Fe, so I wasn't visiting a new place. However my boy friend , and some friends just wanted to get away for a weekend without actually leaving the city. We found this place online and the price wasn't too bad. The experience was wonderful! The room made me feel at home,... More
