My wife and I stayed a week at Hale-Hoola after being on Kauai'i for a week. Elma and Carl are the perfect hosts, both interesting and great sense of humor. Elma is turning Hale-Hoola into a flora wonderland. The property already has papaya and bananas. We lingered at breakfast enjoying other guests in addition to Elma and Carl. Our room...

This was our second visit to Hale Ho'ola B&B and we didn't think twice before coming here. The home is immaculate, the hosts (Carl & Elma) are very kind and welcoming, offering a delicious breakfast each morning of our 8 day stay. The beaches are nearby and we enjoyed snorkelling with Spinner Dolphins, turtles, eels and colourful fish. We would...

A quiet stop on the south highway with ocean view & accommodating hosts! The new owners have quickly achieved a lovely retreat. We stayed for four nights & greatly enjoyed the breakfasts & the service provided by the hosts.

This might very well be the first review new owners Carl and Elma are receiving. My wife and I stayed at Hale Ho’ola the first week of 2016, which happened to be the week Carl and Elma were taking over responsibility for this B&B from now former long-time owners Bob and Mary. With the full slate of guests, it could...

Hidden from the roadway behind lush gardens, Hale Ho'ole provided a very comfortable room - the Plumeria Room. Quet, restful, with only the sounds of nature to fill our ears, we immediately enjoyed our personal lanai. The room was perfectly clean, and, after our travel, the bed was inviting and comfortable. Bob and Mary were very warm and welcoming, and...

The Hale Ho'ola was for us a wonderful place to stay! Firstly, the rooms are charming, the beds very comfortable and the view is stunning! It is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden and from the lanai in my room I could see a lush tropical forest with a view of the ocean in the distance. Every morning a delicious,...

Mary and Bob are great hosts and provided useful information about spots to visit as well as restaurants/shops/etc. Breakfasts were...

Mary and Bob were fantastic hosts! My husband and I had a wonderful time and fell asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillow. We awoke well rested and with coffee brewing on the upstairs lanai. Breakfast consisted of the most delicious exotic fruit with breads and a second plate (one day with Hawaiian pancakes and the other with...

We had a very nice relaxing time during our three night stay. Bob and Mary were so accommodating and tended to all of our needs. They went the extra mile to invite our visiting family to join for a wonderful breakfast. Mary made sure every detail was covered during our stay to include a travel basket for our early morning...
