Avoid this place like the plague. There is a lying thief on staff; they stole our pillows, room service was non existent, and the hotel was really dirty. Don’t get lulled into believing this will be a beautiful stay on the shores of the wild Pacific Ocean. We stayed here for two days. A few hours after we departed we...

The hotel is pretty much a motel that has had some upgrades. The lobby looks great, and the staff very friendly, but the rooms could still use some improvements. They had everything we needed and it was clean. We visited in November so it is cooler, windy and rainy. They need to replace the windows and doors, you can hear...

While driving up 101, we wanted to stop on the ocean for a sunset. Crescent City was great timing, Oceanfront Lodge sound like the right place. We were not disappointed. The hotel is right at on the ocean. Sitting of the balcony provided a perfect place to have a glass of bubbles and enjoy to sunset. When you open the...

Pro's: Oceanview is great. Close and can hear surf. Front desk staff very helpful. Con's: Just felt dirty. The more I looked the worse it got. Stains on sheets, blanket, bedcover. Carpets old and not vacuumed well. Restaurant: we were one of 2 parties in the restaurant and they got my order wrong, took awhile and it just wasn't anything...

Perfect location, waterfront rooms and great views. It gets an bump to 'average' due to location, facility itself gets 2 stars. Inexpensive mattress as my back can testify to. Whole property just felt old and tired, and not in a cute 'full of character' way. Cig butts and litter not picked up in outside areas. The only eggs offered at...

After staying there two days, we realized the room was infested by bed bugs. We saw red spots of blood on the sheets and the tiny little bugs everywhere, and dead ones on the floor. We collected some in a glass to show the manager, thinking that he would refund the price of our room and apologize. Instead, someone with...

I'm a sucker for an ocean view and this one is great. Including tax the room was about $185.00 a night. I mention this because there were little things that bothered me about the room. The cover on the heat/ac unit fell off in my hand when I went to turn the heat on. There was no plastic liner for...

On the beach, away from Highway, walk to lighthouse at low tide. Relatively new, clean comfortable, pool and spa and sauna. I would rate this hotel 5 stars except that they force everyone to watch Fox News in the restaurant and bar. I asked the staff if they could show something else or turn it off; they changed one of...

This hotel is dishonest and will charge you for services you did not buy. I stayed for a week and had a $13 movie charged to my account that I did not purchase. I am 100% sure that during the time it was supposedly purchased that I was watching the World Series. I never even ventured to the on demand...

I got mixed up in Crescent City and stopped by the hotel for directions. The owner dropped what he was doing and came out to give me a map of the area, draw directions on it, and answer all of my questions even though I told staff up front I wouldn't be staying there.
