This is where I hoped to be writing a glowing review of our July 24, 25, and 26th stay at Taharaa. We had booked online back in January as part of what was to be a 12 day stay in the Estes Park area split...More
We stayed here during a recent trip to visit Rocky Mountain National Park. This is truly the most luxurious place to stay in Estes Park - a true mountain lodge with comfort and relaxation at heart. The lodge is conveniently located only 15 minutes from...More

I am not sure what their policy is for holding a reception at Taharaa and reserving four rooms. We held our wedding and reception there and went with the option to reserve all of the rooms and had our family and wedding party stay there with us for two nights. Some of the rooms have a pull out couch in them, for our party those were ideal for families with kiddos. I think you could have three adults in a room and four would probably be cozy. The rooms are spacious in my opinion. Overall, I would say to reach out to the staff and talk with them about what you are looking for and your overall goals for your event. I had an incredible experience working with them and would highly recommend the staff and the venue.
Downtown Estes Park is about 4 miles from both the North and South Entrances to Rocky Mountain Nat. Park. As of now all of the park except Trail Ridge Road is open and accessible via car, bike, walking.
