We picked the Estes YMCA mainly for activities for our ten year old, but also because of proximity to RMNP. We stayed in the Cedar cabin, and the people that adopted this cabin have made it one of the nicest we have stayed in. The...More
Had 150 family members show up for a reunion. There were 88 in our lodge alone. Great facility. Lots of recreational facilities for free. Several restaurants/cafeterias. General store. Easy access to Estes part and the Stanley hotel. My bed was dated. I could feel the...More
On a recent trip to Colorado ours plans were unexpectedly changed and we were looking for a place to stay for a night. Since we had not been to Rocky Mountain National Park in a few years we decided to find a place near Estes...More

There are a variety of cabins. IF I gave you the names of certain cabins, there is no guarantee that you will get that cabin. I have been trying for 10 years to get back in the cabin that we stayed in when I was a child in the 60's. There are newer cabins across the road from the main YMCA campground. Those cabins are usually newer (dishwashers and TV) and usually larger. We just love staying there so that we have room to stretch out, have a full sized kitchen, our dogs can stay with us, there is always a nice relaxing porch to sit out and enjoy the scenery. The cabins are not that close together. There are many activities going on that there is surely something for all ages.
