We camped two nights here and couldn't have been happier. All of the spots are far enough apart that you feel as if you are alone, but yet have the security of neighbors. Very nice and quiet as the night falls, and the campfires rise....More

This campground is in Rocky Mountain National Park and each campsite is big enough for 5 people or more, depending on how you arrange your tents. There is a tent pad that is large enough to set up two 3 person-tents. The scenery around is...More

Very friendly, informative and patient Rangers. We got D-149 for three nights. However on the third night we decided to take our time driving on Trail Ridge Road to camp on the West side (at Timber Creek). I wasn't expecting it, but I got a...More

We were headed to California and camped here for one night, beautiful campground, nice flush toilets, and bear boxes. The firewood and ice is reasonably priced and the campsites are nice and spaced apart. We will def go again but pack warmer clothes.

You have to reserve your campsite online. This is not a first come first serve campground

There are showers in Estes Park. We used Dad's (right next to the Safeway) and they were nice and clean. You can also do your laundry there while you shower.
