Older hotel, but clean and beds were comfortable. Parking lot needs resurfacing and they are repairing drive-up area near office. Just a few minutes to downtown Estes and close to activities and food.

Thank you for staying with us! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay! Unfortunately we had a truck run into our hotel entry, so have to repair our office area. While doing so, we are going to be completely redoing our parking lot. We hope to see you again after our new upgrades are completed!

I am super disappointed in the hotels policy. I booked a room a few days ago and woke up this morning to a High wind advisory and low visibility warning on the surrounding roads - wind gusts up to 80 miles an hour and possible power outages. I called to cancel and they will not refund. Super disappointed.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Rustic hotel, lots of pine furniture. We stayed in a 3 bed room, impressive size. If you are expecting a 5 star lavish hotel book elsewhere. This is very clean, friendly staff, sufficient continental breakfast. The property is fenced. We enjoyed watching the elk on the surrounding properties with the safety of the fence! We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Estes. My 8 year old loved the old school playground….don’t ever get rid of it! We had a standard 2 queen bed room and there was plenty of room for our luggage to be spread out. Mini fridge was a nice size and I liked that the sink area was separated from the shower and toilet. We had the second floor which was so nice. We enjoyed the views while sitting on our balcony chairs in the evening. The pool looked nice but was a little too chilly for us to try. I wished breakfast was a little more substantial but that is my only suggestion to make this place even more lovely.

This was our first time to stay at Hotel Estes. Everything was great. The rooms were clean. All employees were very friendly and helpful. The lobby for breakfast and s'mores at night is very nice and clean. We plan to stay there again next summer!

The room was very clean, spacious, and well appointed. The beds were comfortable and we liked the "log cabin" decor. Our only somewhat "worry" was that the floor felt odd. Meaning, it was a bit wavy and felt almost like we were going to fall through a hole in front of the sink area. It was covered in carpet so it was fine, but a bit odd. The room stayed nice and cool with a strong a/c window unit. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the sun set over the mountains. The only slight suggestion I would offer is that they hurry and get the hot tub by the pool fixed. That area looked a bit junky. We were happy staying here though and would come back again.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, as well as for staying with us! We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay! We also appreciate the input on the floor and will definitely look into it. We also appreciate the input on the hot tub by the pool. Unfortunately the town building department has thrown a few road blocks in our way for finishing the hot tub as quickly as we wanted to, but it is nearly complete now! We hope to see you again at the Hotel Estes and hope that you can enjoy the hot tub next time!

We’ve been meaning to try Hotel Estes for a few years, as a well-rated, pet-friendly hotel. My husband, our dog, and I stayed 2 nights and our son/wife/dog came up for one night. Husband and I were in a king room. The positives: the bed was very comfortable, location great, breakfast good! The negatives: overwhelming, pervasive, air freshener/carpet freshener scent in the room and a non functional thermostat (we did end up putting on the air conditioner on for night 2). The kids’ room was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and unscented. Overall, I think we’d try this hotel again, but would request an unscented room.

We arrived at the hotel early. We were not looking to check in, just to see if the had a restaurant or bar at the hotel to watch the Colorado AVS game. Noah, was so pleasant and asked if we would like to check in now. The room was perfect with great views. Clean, the beds were amazing and my husband does not sleep with pillows, however he did that night and said they were amazing.

Room was nice and comfortable (except for the carpet- which was rather worn and seemed to have a smell). Bed was good and so was breakfast. We appreciated that the room renovation included grab bars on the bathtub/shower, and a non slip surface on the tub.

Thank you for staying with us and for taking the time to write a review! We also appreciate the input. We are actually replacing all carpet in rooms this winter. We are sorry that it was a little beat up and smelled during your stay. We will look into it to see what we can do before it's replaced for other guests. However, we are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall and the grab bars as well. We hope to see you again in the future!

We stayed in the Family Room with 3 Queen Beds. There are 5 of us. And it was perfect. The room was very spacious. We loved the feel of the hotel. Kind of felt like we were staying in a cabin. Loved how it was decorated. Great location close to town. We were able to check in a little early after I called and asked. They were very accommodating. The breakfast room and breakfast was good.
