The units at Ram’s Horn are even nicer than I had seen when researching where to stay. The cleanliness of the units and little details were definitely noticed. We enjoyed the nearby hot tub, the fireplace, movies and games for checkout and the wine and cheese reception we were invited to. We will definitely be back!

Rams Horn is an Estes Park favourite. The location is a few minutes drive to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and a few minutes walk to great food and atmosphere at Rock Inn Tavern. The units are spacious and comfortable and stocked with everything you need to feel at home away from home. Beds are especially comfy and cozy. The staff are friendly, accommodating, helpful and very hardworking to keep sidewalks clear and safe during multiple snow falls! During a non-Covid year, there are a number of fun guest activities planned; the supply of dvds, games, books and puzzles to take back to your place is extensive; having access to sleds to borrow is appreciated. Having big bull elk walk by on your front porch is an added bonus :-)

Have vacationed here more times than I can remember over the past 20 years, I love it today as much as the first time I stayed. It is a rare resort that was built and still managed by long time Estes park residents that are still actively involved in it’s day to day management. They have high standards and it shows in the upkeep of the cabins, there cleanliness, the cleanest vacation lodging I have ever stayed in. You will see the same faces of the employees there each time you visit which tells me they must treat them as well as they treat the upkeep of the facilities. They tell you welcome home when you arrive and I know it sounds corny but they honestly make you feel that way, thank you all employees! The resort is in the best location in Estes Park for accessing RMNP and I guarantee you will see deer and occasionally elk nibbling on the bushes outside or near your cabin. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here.

In the midst of nothing being ‘normal’ during COVID, our vacation staying at Ram’s Horn recently gave my family a sense of feeling normal while still safe. It was truly the best vacation we could have booked, with all activities being outdoors , pool still open but with safety restrictions (but didn’t impede ability to enjoy it), daily linen service if we wanted but never came in home (just left in bag on porch). Everything was open in Estes but visitors and community being great about wearing masks and distancing. The park experience was the best because of limiting visitors. We come to Estes and Ram’s Horn every year, each year being a 10+ experience - this year was no exception. Thank you Ram’s Horn for providing my family with a perfect vacation that was very much needed!

Rams Horn has the most friendly and helpful staff in all of Estes Park. They have taken every measure to ensure that their homes / condos are completely sanitized and safe during these challenging times. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was safe, they never hesitated to swap out the linen's and bedding.

We are here now, Estes is quiet and Rocky Mtn National Park is closed. But Rams Horn has just started accepting guests again. The resort is in great shape, the staff has been working to keep it in tip top shape for when restrictions are lifted and guests can come and enjoy this great property. The town is starting to re-open and soon the many Estes & RMNP lovers will be here again. RHVR will be ready.

The Rams Horn continues to be the best resort in Estes Park. We were very impressed how they have made a huge effort to make things safe for residents with the current covid happening. Our two bedroom home is spotless. They use a similar disinfectant process in units that they use on airlines. Entire staff wears masks. What the staff and management have done makes our family feel safe and at ease.
The Rocky Mountain National Park Area is great. Hiking, fishing, going for a drive, or just watching the beauty. From the central and rocky mountain time zones it is easy to get here by car. You don't need to fly. We just started the second week of our two week vacation at the Rams Horn. We don't want it to end.

The cabin was clean and nicely appointed. It was only a couple of minutes to drive into town. Great washers and dryers in the laundry room (4 of them) and they were free. The clubhouse had hundreds of GREAT movies and a LOT of games (Clue, Chess, Monopoly, etc.). The front desk staff was nice and helpful. We drove to Breckenridge for some Snowboarding and drove back in the same day. The road crews do a great job clearing the roads and deicing after snow. Lots of great shops and good places to eat in Estes Park. You can't go wrong here for a nice getaway!

Our first time in a 2 bedroom duplex unit in many years, we were pleased with how quite both units are. my teens didnt keep our 'neighbors' (aka my sisters, brother in law, and toddler niece) awake at night, and no one heard the baby cry in the morning! porch rockers were a nice upgrade since our last visit, and landscaping was actively going in during our stay. always a great trip, even with COVID restrictions in place.

We have always loved staying here, especially during the quieter winter season. Close proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes. Unit is large and accommodating and we've noticed some recent upgrades. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking accessories and it feels like home away from home. We brought most of our food with us , so took advantage of the kitchen amenities. Enjoyed the hot tub as it was close by. Facility folks kept roads cleared during the time we were there and were timely in clearing snow after a recent snowfall. Highly recommend these cabins for your next vacation to Estes Park and RMNP.

The resort does have 2 units that have a king on one floor and a two twins as we only have two you should call the resort to see if we can accommodate that request.

So sorry to be late in my response. Yes, there are single units, and side by sides. There are large singles as well as two-bedroom units. The Rams Horn staff is helpful and will answer all questions you have.

The weather will be a little cooler in sept. 70's day.....40's night. But it is a transition time. Yes I would bring coats. But it may also be like a nice summer evening, yes pool and hot tubs will be open. ... hot tubs are great.
Answer from Cdalton

There's Rocky Mt. National Park right down the road.... but teenagers are tough breed... unless they're super into nature. Estes is a small town with a lot of t-shirt shops. There's the Stanley Hotel (The Shining) w. cool ghost night tours... all in all they would like Boulder more... with it's music, Pearl St. and things to do on the creek... incl. tubing. Estes is good maybe for a couple nights. Hope that helps
