We are proud to offer you 10 different room types. From cozy single queen rooms with great views to a sprawling King Suite we have a room that will suit any need. We have a total of 49 rooms, 24 on the first floor and 25 on the second. Most of our motel rooms have the views Rocky Mountain National Park is known for. Our philosophy is very simple: Keep our rates as low as possible while providing service, comfort and amenities that truly make for an enjoyable stay. We arent fancy, were not sophisticated and we certainly arent corporate. Were more like a big family inviting you to come share Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park with us in lodging we think is very special.

The Blue Door Inn was our first lodging during our 2 week Colorado road trip this summer. This was also my favorite lodging during that time as well. The size of the room was good enough. Nothing fancy or large, but good for what we needed. Fridge/microwave and enough as we would be spending the next 2 days in Rocky Mountain National Park anyway. From our room window we saw rabbits, ground squirrels, and a marmot. That was pretty cool. We also saw a deer by the parking lot. There is a pool, hot tub, cornhole, shuttleboard, bench swing, and a campfire area. We utilized cornhole and the campfire. They even offer FREE marshmallows and sticks for guests. My dad said he hadn’t done that in like 20 years! It was lots of fun and FREE. They also have a fun breakfast and it’s pretty good. Not just cereal and pastries, but they had some hot items too. Great, friendly customer service too. My only issue was that they have 1 washer and 1 dryer available. Had to wait around for other guests to finish. Nice to have activities around the hotel. Made the hotel more fun and more like an experience than just a “place to stay for the night.” Highly recommend and would definitely return.…

Thank you for stopping by to give us your feedback. I can't express how happy it makes me to read, we were your favorite lodging! We aim to make your stay amazing from check-in to check-out. We want every guest to return. We are an older Hotel, but keep it in tip top shape. Estes Park is the mecca for wildlife viewing, and occasionally so is our backyard. Our daily live music, campfire and marshmallow roasting are a must do while staying here, and an amazing way to end any evening. We have quite a few activities to do while staying here, and we will just keep adding on to them. Our complimentary continental breakfast is a great way to start your morning, especially with our hot options! If we ever expand the first thing we will do is add more washer and dryers. Very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again! We arrived early and we were able to check in early. Very close to downtown Estes Park and able to walk along a path. The room was cleaned daily and every day replenished with fresh towels. And I will mention we had plenty of towels. I like the vinyl flooring too much better than carpet.

We recently stayed in the Blue Door Inn in Estes Park during a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park there. It was such a nice friendly motel - reminded me of the motels my family went to when I was young, where your car was parked outside the window of your room! From the moment we arrived for our three night visit we were greeted by a friendly staff ready to make our visit pleasant. Each morning breakfast (both hot and cold offerings) is set up, with a nice variety of foods from cold cereal to hot oatmeal to eggs and biscuits with gravy. It was a nice way to start the day of touring. The pool was (of course) closed but I used the hot tub on two of the days we were there. There seemed to be game areas and an outside campfire pit for the summer guests. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a small frig, microwave, Kuerig coffee pot and supplies for coffee or tea. Nice friendly staff. Beautiful views from our room. We could see the ski slopes. My daughter got married nearby. When we returned late that night, our key didn't work.They were happy to help with our door key after hours.

I won’t lie price was an important factor in choosing this spot. The reviews were great and the price was too! The place was clean inside and out. It’s an older place but has been updated nicely. The location was great very near RMNP. The staff was very friendly ! The bed was comfortable and water pressure was great! I was expecting a very meager breakfast, boy was I surprised! They offered hot choices, eggs biscuits and gravy along with all the usual items. I did not stay here during my trip last year but I assure you I will stay here anytime I come to Estes Park

Thank you for this wonderful review. We strive to be the best. Our housekeeping staff is beyond amazing. Our rooms get two inspections when they are done cleaning rooms. We inspect what we expect! Our breakfast may not be overly big, we do offer different options as well as not having all prepackaged food as other hotels do. All of our staff are locals here. We do not recommend or suggest anything that we have not experienced ourselves. We are overjoyed you loved your stay. WE will see you on your next adventure to Estes park!

Clean, comfortable, friendly, great amenities. An excellent value. You could get closer to RMNP, but this was a convenient location. Outside door, good refrigerator and microwave, nice breakfast -they had bananas! They want me to write more but that’s all I have to say.

Very clean older motel. Adequate in every way. Personable employees. Good value. Breakfast had a couple of hot items, along with the usual continental breakfast items. Had packages of Grandma's cookies out for guests checking in. Would stay here again. Convenient location.

Clean but very small & spartan. No floor mat inside door so snow tracked in (they dont shovel) melts on the carpet leaving it wet-& the bed is right as u step into the room. 😎 Good for 1 nite to sleep but thats about it. ‘Free Breakfast’ is basic & poor quality. Many other better options in Estes.
