OMG, we travel a lot and I honestly can’t remember a place we’ve enjoyed this much in years. A stream outside your door with couches, rockers, chairs, and bbq to enjoy the scenery. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Big rooms. Incredible staff. Thank you Chad! Laundry room if you need it with complimentary soap & dryer sheets. Complimentary s’mores, and granola bars. Just a block off the historic downtown. Close to the entrance of RMNP I can’t wait to come back.

Made arrangements online and had to change plans due to illness. Bridget at the front desk was very helpful in explaining our options and was very accommodating so we could reschedule our stay. Cannot wait to stay there in the future. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.

We stayed at here in mid April 2023. The room and hotel were generally nice and conveniently located. The issue we have is with the management. We had to reschedule our stay at the Silver Moon back a week due to a snow storm in the area during the week we had originally scheduled. Traveling through the storm with 2 infants wasn't a great idea to us. Hotel management allowed us to reschedule and reassured us that they would waive the $50 per day rescheduling fee due to the circumstances. When we checked in, and when we ultimately left (and paid) we were again reassured that all we owed was the fee for the hotel room. NOT the rescheduling fee. Then, 3 WEEKS after our stay, the hotel charged us $100 for the reschedule fee. We've called the hotel several times, the front desk lady cannot help us and the manager will not call us back and never seems to be in the office. Our fun time in Estes has been completely washed out by the completely dishonest business from these people. …

We always stay here when we visit Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Pet friendly rooms available and manager is attentive to people leaving pets unattended in room. Easy walking to shopping on Main Street.

Great location, walk to town. Very spacious, comfortable room with all amenities including a fireplace. Attractive setting on a running river with fire pits and seating. In addition to breakfast they offer fresh popcorn and ingredients for s'mores. Loved it!!

Great place to stay. Great setting with lots of furniture along the river to enjoy a nice evening or breakfast. Very nice rooms and the staff is very welcoming. Fixings for s’mores at check in was a nice surprise and fun idea. We’ll definitely be back.

My reservation for another hotel was transferred to the Silver Moon Inn and it ended up being a great experience. The employees were very helpful and patient in answering my questions about the transfer. The room was clean, comfortable and had a nice view of the river. I really enjoyed my stay there.

We have been coming here for over 10 years. Great location…walking distance to town. Used to love sitting by creek and the fire pits, but now no fire pits due to some FEMA situation. Unfortunately, that has been very disappointing. To top it off they have removed all the rustic outdoor furniture and replaced it with red patio furniture which causes the outdoors to lose its mountain feeling. So much furniture outdoors and not very inviting as it was before. This trip we never sat outdoors and it used to be the main draw. Luckily, it snowed while we were there and made the trip very enjoyable. They still have breakfast, popcorn and s’mores, but the outdoors ambiance is missing.

Thank you for continuing to stay with us over the last 10 years! We are very sorry about the ambiance by the river. We are in the middle of completely redoing the property and a make over. We had to cut down trees, due to them dying. And Estes Park has been such a huge fire risk the last few years, that we have been asked by the local fire department to switch to gas fires. FEMA did shut down the work on our property last year, so we had to stop our landscaping. However, we will soon be okay to resume the work. Before summer, we will have plantings added, large gas fire pits and more. We will continue phase 2 of the project this fall. Our river area will be natural and beautiful after it's all done!

This is my second stay at the Silver Moon Inn. I just love it!! The staff is so friendly and helpful! I love how they have popcorn and smores stuff every evening giving it such a homey feeling. The location is PERFECT!!! I would highly recommend this hotel!
