This lovely motel is just about the last one you'll see before the RMNP Visitor Center. The value is super and the place really earned its top ranking. We booked for 2 nights but liked it so well that we added an extra night. Our stay was in mid-October which marks the first October that they've been opened. Although the...

Simple motel. Very clean and well maintained. Views were nice, easy drive into Estes Park. Definitely worth it vs the competition. Price was great, for the off season. Staff was friendly! The woman at the front desk gave us great recommendations and took time to show us around on the map.

Room small but adequate.50's noisy. Bathroom very small and cramped, shower barely big enough to get in. Room was well equipped with refer etc, wifi. Bed OK, but pillows hard as a Rock, found spare that was softer. Convenient location. Good restaurant close by. Rm 118

We stayed two nights here and the room wasn't very clean.... I also called to see if I had left my glasses in the room and they took several days to respond and said sometimes they miss checking under the bed....

I can't guess the age of this place but it's old. Our room, #150 in front of building, was very small with 2 beds. Being an older motel I would recommend a room in the one level building in the rear for 2 reasons. The first is that, unlike newer properties the floors are not concrete, so the folks clumping...

It's the closest hotel to the entrance for the Rocky Mountain national park. Be sure to ask for a larger room. Some of them are quite small. Overall decent. Nothing fancy. But comfortable. And the staff are excellent.

Our room was nice. Much better than a lot of chain hotels that charge more. Hotel is on the edge of town away from the hustle and bustle and close to Rocky Mountain National Park. We could hear the elk bugling late into the night and again in the morning. Quite a unique experience. Parking is nice because the stalls...

I stayed here for two nights on a recent visit to the Rocky Mountains National Park. The room was small but suited me as I was travelling alone. It was also spotlessly clean. I was backpacking in the RMNP for 5 days and the staff agreed to look after my luggage even though I was not staying with them at...

Honestly, I liked it better than many of the name brand places. My only negative is that parking in back was tight for larger vehicles like my F-150. If the hotel had been full, it would have been very difficult to get in and out in the back buildings.

The Alpine Trail Ridge is a great place to make your home base when visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. - It has the character of a successful older motel - It is on the right side of town to avoid the heavy traffic of Estes Park on your way into the park - It is clean and well maintained -...
