This is a "sister" park to Spruce Lake and Dakota Ridge RV parks so what you get at one, you'll get at the others. This park is basically bare, dusty soil with no "charm". The prices of $62.50 per night at the highest we've paid in over ten years of RVing with our fifth-wheeler. Wii-fi was absolutely non-existent. You'll have... More

Making reservations was easy….but once you get there…..we were very disappointed. We have stayed at Jellystone and KOA. We will stay at one of those two again and never stay at Elk Meadows again. The dirt is out of control, the sites are so unlevel that our neighbor did not have enough levelers to make his unit level. The entire... More

There’s no reason to consider Elk Meadow RV Park except its proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park. As prior reviews report, the roads are dusty, the pads are dirt with no patios. In fact, our parking space picnic table was unusable due to the steep slope. The old, weathered picnic table was unattractive and splinters were a real danger. Did... More

We stayed at this park for a week. Staff was very nice , sites small, laundry and bath facilities were good. I thought a little high but in line with others in the area. Overall would stay again Did not encounter any problems. They do have a lot of rules but I sure they are for a reason

Remember Estes Park is a tourist town, so campground rates are always higher in these areas. Elk Meadow is nicer and a little less than other RV parks in the area. The added benefit is that the location is out of busy downtown area and only 1 mile from main Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. The breathtaking mountain views are... More

They charge 42 US$ (including tax) for an unpowered camp site. The sites have no shade, and the hole place looks like an open field. Its on the intersection of two heavily used roads. I found the reception people, including manager, to be unfriendly. I moved on, did not stay there. My recommendation regardles RV or tent.... go to Estes... More

I've been here a few times but I always enjoy returning. They have 80' sites that comfortably accept my 75' coach n trailer. The great views of the mountains are only surpassed by day trips through the National Park. The town offers wonderful galleries, museums, shops and restaurants. I always meet many fun neighbors here. There are always fun things... More

My husband and I stayed here two nights and were very disappointed. It was pricey, over $120 for two nights with us basically parking in a big, open field. Most importantly, there are only nine toilets and showers for this entire campground! (That's six women's, six men's and three unisex.) I felt like I wasted so much time standing in... More

We stayed here for 5 nights in a tent site in August. We were a bit surprised at the size of the sites- they were quite small and we had gotten a premium/deluxe site. It was generally fine though, as we did not spend much time at the site except at night. There was quite a bit of road noise... More

Every time this resort is sold, it deteriorates further. We've been coming here for years, but have visited the resort for the last time. Rules are posted everywhere but are selectively enforced. Not a pet friendly place.
