A picture perfect postcard setting for these condos. Imagine comfy Adirondack chairs on the Fall River. Each condo faces the Fall River and has a private deck/patio. Open the door and hear the rushing water of the Fall River. The units are nicely appointed, very well maintained and cleaned. It was exactly what we were looking for. We didn't want...

We stayed there a week, and it was awesome! Clean, quiet and the sound of the river always in the background. We have stayed at Black Canyon Inn and Aspen Winds in the past these are also very nice places to stay, but The Woodlands was our favorite so far. The staff was very helpful giving recommendations on dining and...

We have stayed at Woodlands many times, but this year we felt that it was falling short. There were no big problems but a collection of little things that made the stay less enjoyable. For example - they had no wood available and didn't know when or if they would (and no apologies) even though the brochure clearly claims that...

We absolutely loved this place. The cabins are clean and beautiful. We had 3 adults in a 1 BDR Suite and had plenty of room. It was so quaint and quiet. Did not know others were on the property. The view was awesome of the river with the relaxing rush of the river. Everyone who we had dealt with per...

We were so impressed with our visit here!!! It is in a beautiful location with small mountains all around. The river is so loud and soothing!!!!! It is located next to a lightly traveled road, but that didn't bother us at all- the river drowns out any car noise. The owners have put a lot of thought into little details....

We stayed here during the week. We were so lucky to book here as it is peaceful, clean and quaint. Right on the river. With our screen door open you can hear the rush of the river. We saw 6 elk the other right across the river eating. Family run business. Just what we wanted. They have dvds to just...

We stayed here 3 nights in a 2 bedroom unit with a balcony and really enjoyed it! Very nice, well maintained, clean units! The hot tub was exceptional! We saw elk in the front yard and a marmot family with 6 little ones playing amongst the rocks along the river every day! The only problem we encountered was a magpie...

I selected this place to stay after seeing other reviews on Tripadvisor and I was not disappointed. We have seen elk, Canada geese, marmots, Steller's jay, and magpies from our front lawn view of the Fall River. The beds are soft and comfy. The kitchen is adequate. I have even tried out the laundry facility to get our hiking clothes...

Have stayed here several times. It's my favorite close-to-the-RMNP-entrance place. Quiet and clean with excellent scenery. Love the Christmasy outdoor lighting and evergreen trees. The green house across the street makes it easy to find! Upstairs living rooms are brighter and more open but the lower level is nice, too and makes for an easier walk to the chairs by...
