Accommodations were very nice , a little dated could be updated the decorations,
The seets and bedding could be updated , they fellt old , they could be improved .
Anything you ask for they will get for you, extra blankets , towels what ever you need.
Very Good location , the sounds of the creek was wonderful at night.
They need a check out list to tell you what needs to be done, no clear directions when checking out.
Would like to see the trees trimmed a little so you can see the sign and around some cabins.
Lots of wildlife , over all a very relaxing place to stay and very close to RMNP
Large Elk walking by at night.

We brought our own Clorx wipes and santizing spray as I did not see any major cleaners on the house keepers
carts.

Thank you for staying with us and for your review. All of these units are privately owned, so we will pass along the need for updating to the owner. Our crew is supplied with commercial chemicals (without labels) that have been approved to kill Coronavirus.

Riverstone Resort met our expectations in every way for a family of 4 with two teenagers! Location is perfect, the Cabin was spotless and very spacious, added bonus is the well supplied kitchen, gas grille and the laundry facilities. The setting sells itself, right on the river and close to RMNP and town. My teenage son enjoyed catching trout in the evenings and we enjoyed hanging out on the deck just enjoying the scenery including a visit from a Bull Elk!

very kind owners, beautiful units and reasonable prices. Myself and several friends stayed here for presidents day weekend and we had an outstanding time despite the cold. Only had five bucks to tip the cleaning folks though so we left our remaining unopened bottle of vodka for the tip. Not a necessary detail but the review had to be over 200 characters.

We booked this location as I was very interested in a place on Fall River road. This was absolutely ideal for our family. It was a great size with everything we could have needed and very comfortable and clean. It was a treat to sleep on a bed that didn't feel like a hotel with scratchy sheets. They accommodated our family and have a great layout with a loft, 2 bathrooms on separate floors, so it makes traveling easier! This is a family owned resort and they are very friendly and wonderful to deal with.. The landscaping is well cared for and very lovely with lots of trees and we had a little resident bunny that came out everyday and enjoyed the grass!! Although they are family friendly it was also quiet and felt secluded. The best of the best in that regard!! The sound of the river nearby and fresh air was so fantastic. Very close to Rocky Mountain National Park and still a close drive to downtown. Resort offered movies and fishing rods for additional entertainment but we enjoyed just sitting outside on our private patio facing the river when not elsewhere. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone of all ages and families. This was a gem to find and a pleasure to stay here.

This was our first visit to Estes and we could not have been more pleased with our place! We stayed in Bear Paw unit 1, which was perfect for our family. Our kids enjoyed the private bed and bath upstairs, and we absolutely loved the private river front patio. Most mornings we enjoyed coffee and fishing right from the back yard. I noticed that the Bear Paw condos have outdoor chairs and a table on the patio, but it looked like the River Stone side units had outdoor chairs only. We loved being able to eat outside, and used the grill as well.

The location was incredibly convenient to the Fall River entrance station for RMNP (we had passed for each day we were in town) and just out of the hustle and bustle of Estes, but still close enough to run in for dinner or activities.

We brought most of our food and found the kitchen very well stocked. The entire place was incredibly clean when we arrived, with plenty of towels and even floor fans for the hotter daytime temps. Don’t worry about not having AC, keep the windows open and the fans on during the day and you’ll be reaching for a jacket once the sun goes down. We will absolutely be back!

This is our 7th stay at the Bear Paw and River Stone Resorts and we truly consider it our home away from home. The setting is in the Rocky Mountains and the suites are clean, quiet and offer beautiful views of nature and wildlife. The complex managers are friendly, accommodating and on their game. And, their dog, Otis, is one of the friendliest greeters we have ever encountered. We have visited Estes Park for many years, and the Bear Paw has always been and will always be our #1 choice. We want to live there permanently.

This was the most charming resort we ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, and the 2nd bedroom upstairs with its own separate bathroom was most appreciated by our son. It can easily accommodate up to 7 people. The whole place was so homely and well-appointed with its own full kitchen facility, BBQ facility in the front patio, and full washer/dryer facility to boot. Did I mention the jacuzzi in the main bedroom? And what a lovely location! Outside the town and barely a couple of miles from the east entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park, with enchanting views of the mountains and the Fall River right by the resort. The managers are most kind and helpful. If we visit Estes Park again, we certainly won’t have to decide where to stay!

My husband and I have been repeat visitors to Bear Paw Suites for 13 years! We love visiting Estes Park and staying at Bear Paw Suites. For us, it's a perfect escape from the craziness of everyday life and a chance to take in the wildlife and magnificent beauty that is Estes Park! Bear Paw Suites are in a beautiful location along Fall River, a very peaceful and relaxing location. The suites are well maintained and equipped with everything you need for a perfect home away from home! The hosts, Brian and Cyndi are absolutely awesome and have done an exceptional job managing Bear Paw Resorts!

We booked this hotel for a stay in early May. They sent us an email via hotels.com saying the hotel will be closed for the days of our trip. We made a booking for a different hotel, but the Bear Paw still charging us a cancellation fee for a booking they cancelled. Looks a good business model to double book, cancel a customers booking and make $50.

We are very sorry your reservation was canceled. Unfortunately you booked through Hotels.com and they canceled your reservation not us. Our facility has never closed except last year when the government closed most things. Our policy states that there would be a $50 cancelation fee charged for canceled reservations. Your reservation was canceled by the 3rd party, Hotels.com, that you reserved through. We were never contacted directly about this issue or the reason for cancelation.

We love staying at Bear Paw. The staff are amazing and the rooms are always ready and clean!
It is the perfect place if you want a cozy getaway and if want to stay in or go out. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and the location is still close enough to town.

Ours was a duplex style, connected to one other unit. But they are well made, there's a dividing wall between the decks, and we never heard any noise from the unit next to us.

The interior design of the Bear Paw units are a higher quality of furnishings and much higher quality in the fabrics used.. The layout looks as if it is done by an expert degreed interior designer which I am. My firm is located in Dallas, Texas. For an Estes Park, Colorado cabin rental unit I would give the interior furnishings and layout a B+ The other units are for larger groups or 4+in a family are not as selective in sofa and over all appearance from what I observed. Some of the sofa's last Fall looked as if many children that had stayed in the Stone River units probably had been allowed to jump on the sofa had really given it major wear. This River Stone suites were are much closer to the Hwy with the creek in between Hwy and units. Not landscaped to the degree that Bear Paws were professionally landscaped on the creek.
