I called last spring looking for a place to stay that could accommodate a grandmother, a daughter with her family including a toddler and a single son. When I called explaining what I was looking for with this criteria and being the first family vacation in 20 years, the woman on the phone said "I have the place for you"....

We wanted a quick winter getaway with our grandson so booked a cabin at Castle Mountain Lodge. Many of their cabins allow pets and we wanted to take our dog so was perfect. It is right on the river up against Rocky Mountain Park. Our cabin had everything including a big fireplace which was a priority. There is also a...

We have greatly enjoyed our stay. Very clean, comfortable. Close to town but you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. They provide 2 bundles of wood a day for fireplaces. No rude signs telling you what you can't do. Very, very friendly staff!

My wife and I love to escape to here from the Denver area in which we live. The cabins are cozy and private. The fireplace inside keeps you warm and creates a very rustic & romantic atmosphere while the decks outside give you a great perch from which to watch wildlife.

We first stayed at Castle Mountain Lodge last year for Fall Break. When we got a stellar deal on plane tickets, we decided to return to Estes Park. Our kids BEGGED to stay at CML again! Though it is pricey, the location cannot be beat! The Safeway is less than 2 miles away, as is the entrance to Rocky Mountain...

We stayed in Evergreen B cabin which is part of a duplex. This is down the road a little from the main property of Castle Mountain. We really enjoyed the cabin. It had everything we needed. A well equipped kitchen, an incredible porch and a nice clean place to stay. The stream behind our property was perfect. We could sit...

From the owner on down, EVERYBODY here are really down to earth people. The place is immaculate, the cabins are clean and very up to date. This was a great location. I loved all the little trails leading around the place, staff is very friendly, plenty to do on property and it was well kept. They definitely care about keeping this nice. The only bummer was the poor wifi. It worked perfect for a little bit, but most of the time it was either dropping out...
