For me the most important thing was that it is very close to the Fall River park entrance -- you're there in 4 minutes. No need to go through trashy Estes Park and its traffic jams. The facts that unit #6 was spotless, had a tiny but great kitchenette, was quiet -- those were nice extras. The library with lots...

We stayed here after touring RMNP and truly enjoyed the peaceful, friendly nature of this inn. Estes Park was SO full of people that it was especially nice to have a quiet retreat! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We missed out on the ice cream social but heard from our neighbors it was quite fun! The river was...

The staff and facilities are fantastic, if you are planning a trip to Estes Park please consider Castle Mountain Lodge. We will be planning another trip to Estes, and Castle Mountain Lodge is where we will stay again.

This lodge is between Estes park and RMNP entrance. Stayed there for a workshop and wound up coming back with my sister. Lodge actually is a series of cottages of various sizes. They also have 6 motel style rooms. It is not fancy but is clean and wonderful location by the falls river. Elk came thru almost every night -...

We suddenly ended up staying here when our expected cabin at another resort suddenly became unavailable. We stayed in what they called a "motel" type room, but it seemed like a nice cabin to us. Everything is exceptionally clean and in order. There was a bear around during the night, but was gone by morning. After staying at another resort...

We were attending the Estes Park destination wedding of my son, many of us coming for out of state. The accommodations ranged from motel rooms, cabin for 2 and cabin for 5, however, they have many cabins to choose from. The location was perfect, close to the wedding venue, close to downtown Estes Park, close to Rocky Mountain National Park...

I stayed there for 5 days this summer. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a very relaxing place to stay. The room was a little warm but opening a window helped. The housekeeping staff were great. They got us anything we needed.

This is the only place to stay in Estes. Close to town and the park. The staff is great. Always friendly and will do anything to make your stay great. Plenty of wildlife around. Elk just walk by the cabins. Some of the cabins have private hot tubs and there is a community one also.

I have been staying at Castle Mountain Lodge for about 30 years now. We come up several times a year. When we found this gem my kids were small and now we have passed on the tradition with our grandkids. Love this place. The staff is so great. Feel like our family. Check out these cabins. You will not be...

While we passed several other nicer places to stay, this room was great for us. The lodges are near the Big Thompson River and between downtown Estes Park and Colorado Rocky Mountain National Park. The paneling in the lodge makes it seem rundown, but all was good. The teenager was not happy about there not being HBO, but he got...
