Beautifully situated, super friendly, and so incredibly cozy! We felt so relaxed--the property is so very conducive to relaxation, that we didn't even mind when it rained! That provided a few hours of fun and games (provided by the lodge) with the kids in the log home. Estes park and Rocky Mountain national park is right there for your excursions...

We have been visiting here for almost two decades and always have a wonderful stay! LuJean and Wanda take great care of us! We have spent Christmas here, Thanksgiving, and of course we like to visit in the lovely summer! We have stayed in most of the large cabins, including the Homestead, and have always found the cabins clean and...

My husband and I found Castle Mountain Lodge on accident, but it was a very happy accident indeed! We planned our simple vow renewal ceremony over the phone with LuJean and she was BEYOND helpful, she even called around locally for us trying to help find someone to play guitar during the ceremony. She suggested Evergreen Cabin B for us...

My fiancé and I came up here once before and had such a horrible experience, they finally gave us a free night after being so rude. We decided to give it another try understanding things happen. Bad Idea! We just left there after spending Memorial Day weekend and I feel so disgustingly dirty. We grabbed three board games from the...

A nice place on the river with various room/cabin configurations. Friendly staff let us check in early since the cabin wasn't occupied. Close to town, but a bit far to walk for most. Great views and walks close by.

My wife and I recently spent a couple of nights at the Castle Mountain Lodge and had a great stay! We stayed in a one bedroom unit that was very clean and comfortable but what we really enjoyed was their outdoor amenities. The lodge had a wood burning fire pit that overlooked the Falls River. We met 2 couples from...

My husband and I have been going to Castle Mountain Lodge for over 30 years. At first, it was just for Thanksgiving weekend because we had no extended family here in Colorado, but gradually, it has extended to a week at Thanksgiving, now two weeks. We've also come for a small family reunion, our wedding anniversaries, birthday weekends, in short,...

We have been vacationing at this location now for six years. We typically go during the first part of October. The weather is great and the crowds are down. The have an Elk Fest the first weekend in October and is fun to watch the activities. The Lodge is terrific. They have several different size cabins to accomodate just about...
