The cabin was nice, though if you're hoping for good internet connections think elsewhere. The cellular signal was almost non-existent (due to mountains), and the campground wi-fi did not reach out to our cabin. That said- the cabin was comfortable, clean and well outfitted kitchen etc. (we had 3 kids plus 2 adults). The price was right for us. Plan... More

Though located several miles south of town and entrance the to Rocky Mountain National Park, we found the location convenient and the park clean. Our site was level and the park had all the amenities we required. We would stay there again. As members of Passport America, we received the discount.

My family along with my brother's family stayed here during the week. It was fairly empty at the tent sites. Which was a bonus for us. We originally were assigned two campsites, but my sister-in-law walked around with the kids and found two better spots for our family. We went to the front office to see if we could get... More

We started coming here when our daughter was 3 and she won the mother lode during candy bar bingo. That sold us this was the spot for our family to experience nature. We have been here for Father's Day weekend antics, Chocolate Lover's complete with chocolate pudding slip & slide. Cindy Bear sleepover, Mardi Gras, Halloween fun and this year... More

The owner, Rick and his family make this steep sloped park a great stop for a few nights. It is far enough out of Estes Park that we felt that nature was around us. In fact a herd of bull Elk munched their way through a thicket across the road and gave us thirty minutes of awe. This place is... More

This campground provided a great base camp for out family trip (boys 6 and 2) to RMNP. We rented RV 3 and it was equipped with everything we needed, including towels, bedding, coffee pot and toaster. Plenty of free activities for the boys, including swimming (pool was warm) and mini golf. It was a quick, easy drive to Estes Park... More

The second I walked through the door to check in, one of the ladies slammed her hand held radio down on the desk in frustration. I guess their computer systems went down, again. She was obviously not a happy camper! People come here for family fun and vacation, not to deal with stressed out campground workers... We were assigned our... More

Took our three boys age 4, 7 & 9. Had lots of fun. Boys favorite was laser tag by far. Staff very friendly. We typically camp in national and state parks and still prefer that type of camping but this was nice change. Four stars because the heated pool was freezing and we were really looking forward to spending a... More

This is a great place if your goal is to disconnect completely. There is no cell service and the wifi is spotty when it's good. We stayed in cabin 31, and the bed was so uncomfortable that I woke up each morning in pain. The towels were stained and the floors needed to be mopped. Also, on our last day,... More

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your stay Unfortunately there was a water line break in the lower section of the park during your stay. It was fixed and water was back on in 45 minutes. The rest of the campground along with the upper restroom still had water during that time. We apologize for... More

I hated this place. Our tent site was located so far from the restrooms (and up a steep hill) we actually got in the car to drive the kids to the bathroom. Bathrooms were terrible. Only two stalls, one of the men's was plugged for quite some time. We are avid campers, but we'll stick to KOA in the future.... More
