No need to search for another place to stay! 10 stars for Murphy's!! Comfort, quiet, great location & close to RMNP entrance. Nestled at the end of town (if you head west), this gem is a great place to rest your head and relax. We had a queen room on the river - our patio was mere footsteps from the river and the rush of the waters lulled us to sleep. Elk were across the street. Walked to town. We were there when schools weren't out - it would be great for families since they have campfire pit/furniture and giant lawn games! We hope to stay here again on another visit to Estes Park - Dan & Carol

Great place to stay with your family! Rooms are super clean and have everything you need. We loved all the cute folded towels and tissues around the room, never seen so many. Pool and hot tub area was nice and clean too.

Best place in Colorado to stay (my opinion). Lower condo, open porch door to listen to the river gurgling by. Fish the Fall River almost from your porch. Of note, staff (family) members to mention Calli, Jenna, Heather. Every staff (family) member deserves mention, but my name recall does not work so good. Every staff member is attentive to our requests, needs and wants. Very knowledgeable of surrounding communities of Estes Park, businesses hours of operation and phone numbers. As you leave parking lot, turn right, Rocky Mountain National Park entrance is 4 miles away. Not necessary to drive to town to shop, very reasonable easy walking distance. You might need your vehicle to haul all your purchases back…… I would be very surprised to here of anyone who lodges at Murphy’s River Lodge is disappointed with their stay.…

Very clean, quiet room, comfy bed. Loved the balcony and the riverside room. The location was great just outside of town but close enough if we wanted to walk. Also saw quite a bit of wildlife, would definitely stay again.

Murphy’s River Lodge was great. The room was clean and the staff was very welcoming. My kids loved checking out the movies and the complementary popcorn from the office. We enjoyed our visit and will defiantly be staying at Murphys on our next trip to Estes.

The room looked and smelled clean and fresh. My room was next to the creek and I could hear the water. Perfect size king bed, kitchen and bath combo had everything I needed and only a 5 minute walk to town. All of the employees went out of their way to help, I left my phone charger at home.... no problem. I'm definitely going back!!

This place is so peaceful & relaxing. We saw Elk very up close, loved the sound of Fall River running close by. The office staff is very friendly & accommodating. Lose to town, so you can walk. I've been here twice & will be back again. This is the place to stay in Estes Park.

MRL was recommended by our children as a great place, and they were not wrong. Our room, 101, had a fantastic river view and the soothing sounds were very relaxing. We had a visit from three Elk right outside of our back patio which thrilled my wife and i got some great pictures. The room was amazing and very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend staying there.
