Accommodations were ok but I really object to paying “amenities fee”. This is straight out deceptive pricing. If this hadn’t been the hotel for a family wedding I would have gone elsewhere. When I stated my objection to the extra fee for things that virtually all hotels provide the desk clerk just said that “many hotels are doing it”. My response is that its total BS. It simply a way to hide charges so the room price looks cheaper when searching on line.

Fun seems to be the theme with a game room and movies that play in the pool. They also offer s'more kits to be used at their outdoor fires and yoga mats in room. They also offer a fun packed lunch service for those that may plan to go hiking and want to bring a lunch which was a cool touch. It's very hospitable. I wish they had microwaves in our room though.

I'm not sure I could have booked a more perfect place for traveling with my 10 year old son. The hotel itself isn't perfect but it was more than adequate, clean, and has GREAT amenities for kids including an indoor pool with a massive projection tv playing while they swim, a game room with x-box, free arcade games, pool tables, foosball, free bike rentals, fire pits with free s'mores roasting kits, and more! The hotel is not directly downtown but close enough for a quick bike ride, long walk or short drive. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The ONLY thing I found odd, was that they have this great restaurant (food was very good) but it's only open for dinner. I don't understand why, when you have a hotel full of patrons that need to eat breakfast and lunch, you wouldn't be open for those meals? Anyway - still had a blast and wouldn't hesitate to stay again with my son!

The front desk staff, Jeff, and the restaurant waiter, Volkan C, have offered excellent service! They are super nice and kind. Traveling with small children, we appreciate their kindness and attention to details. The swimming pool is also amazing with free pool toys and floaties.

Short version of this review? For the love of God stay anywhere else. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever!
To start with. It’s 11pm we were in bed going to sleep with TV on and a male staff member just suddenly opened our closed door to let themselves in and when I yelled “what the h*ll?!” and he saw us, he ran out and knocked on the door saying he was here to pick up food? (We had no food?) This feels VERY unsafe that staff lets themselves into clearly occupied rooms without first knocking. I spoke to the manager on duty who has an accent (not sure of his name) and explained what happened and how unsafe that made us feel as we are two girls staying alone here and instead of listening he kept interrupting and talking over me, not even letting me get 2 words out at a time (mind you I was being very calm and respectful). He was incredibly rude and not at all apologetic.
Chose to stay at the Ridgeline specifically because Latitude 105 offered vegan burgers, and as we are vegan we wanted something we could eat where we stayed. Dinner time rolls around and we try to order the vegan burger and the hostess told me they don’t have any vegan/vegetarian options anymore due to Covid? (How does Covid effect providing vegetarian/vegan options?). Extremely disappointing that they took away the only option that was inclusive to vegans.
The rooms here are very old and not clean. I had to remove someone else’s hair from the shower! The AC unit barely works and we can’t cool it down any more. They say they have WiFi but it’s never found/recognized on devices, or it says “unable to join - move closer to WiFi”. Not the experience the website depicted.
The elevator has been out for the whole time we’ve been here so we’ve had to take the stairs.
They didn’t even provide hand soap for us to wash our hands with (new COVID precaution? Make it harder to wash hands?)
I’ve called the front desk multiple times and left VM to ask for extra towels as the ones they provided were very clearly dirty and had what looks like poop stains!!! The front desk will not answer.
The phone in the room doesn’t work.
Won’t be staying here again.

Poolside rooms smell of nostril stinging mustiness, especially room 217; make sure your room is not poolside. Older hotel that has been adequately maintained. Minimal toiletries consisting of one bar of soap, lotion, and hand sanitizer; make sure you bring your own shampoo. Very clean tub. I think they take sanitation seriously. Lots and lots of dogs going in and out of the building. We only heard two dogs barking; one in the hallway and another in someone's room. We brought our own white noise fan and that helped the drown out the barking (if there was any).

My husband and I stayed here to be close to RMNP. After looking at pictures we decided to spend the extra monies to stay here to be close to the park and they had a restaurant attached that was so amazing (another misconception). We arrived somewhat early in the day to be able to check in. We inquired and were unable to check in. The young lady at the desk recommended a great place for breakfast. Upon returning we checked into the hotel (there was mention in a advertisement) that they gave you a smores "kit" upon check in to be used around the fire pits. Zero smores; I asked about a room with a good view and was told that they did not have views they were more about convenience. Perhaps you shouldn't put beautiful views in your pictures. We open the door to nothing better than a Comfort Inn (which we love) but not at these prices. After taking a shower the next morning the hair dryer quit working. I called the front desk and was told someone would bring me one to use. After no one showed up I called again and was told I was on a "list". Are you kidding? I shared that I had wet hair and also had a time stamp for the park and I needed to go. It was several more minutes before someone finally showed up. Upon check in they didn't bother to acknowledge that I am a DIAMOND member of Choice Hotels. The best part was when I returned home a week plus later I discovered there was ZERO hotel points from this location. I had to call the hotel to complain to get my points added. Don't pay the extra monies and stay somewhere else.

This was our 1st time stating at the Ridgeline. The staff has been absolutely amazing and BONUS they have a game room with air hockey, pool table, ping pong table, gaming systems and board games. My husband I had the room to ourselves and had a blast. They also have a pool but we didn’t use it and the restaurant was closed. The cleaning staff has taken extra steps to sanitize each room, which we really appreciated. Really loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

What is it so great about this place? I could say the cozy ambiance, great leisure area for everyone, Great and comfy bedrooms, excellent location etc but what enchanted me more was the staff. The people at the front desk always smiling and caring, the manager coordinating all around, the cleaning staff and maintenance being efficient and polite. I will sure come back, After all, we always come back to places where we felt good vibes. Don’t you?

I'm being extremely generous by giving them 1 star review, only because there's no option for zero. Let me just say we just took a vacation in CO, stayed in Vail in a beautiful resort and took RMNP to arrive at Estes park. Everything about that day and drive was beautiful until we arrived at the Ridgeline hotel and our day was ruined!!!

It's categorized as a hotel but it should be called a motel and of very cheap caliber. The only good thing they've done is renovate the lobby so there's a sliver of hope when you enter the hotel that rooms maybe renovated as well, but no such luck. Dingy, dark, old and omg the bathroom!!! it was so bad that I couldn't even bare to take a pic of it to post. But I took two pics just so people would know the cleanliness (or lack thereof) inside that hotel. And I paid over $250 for one night for that nightmare!

What makes me most mad is when I called to make reservations, I told the man (making reservations) this is my first vacation in a very very long time, after my son passed away, we just waited for years to gather up the courage to go anywhere and he still lied and oversold it, saying people have weddings here, its new and clean and perfect plus he said there'll be breakfast on sunday but there was none, the restaurant was actually closed in the morning. I felt lied to, very upsetting.

I went to the lobby and complained and asked to move to another room, to which they replied all rooms are the same!

I should have gotten a hint when I was making the reservation, afterwards they forwarded my call to an extremely annoying person who just relentlessly tried to sell me more vacation/hotel stuff, I politely told him many times that I'm not interested but he just wouldn't stop to the point I actually had to say look all I want is to hang up, I don't want anything else but he still kept on going. I hate hanging up on people even telemarketers who are trying to make a living, but this person made it impossible for me to stay polite.

All in all horrible experience, I was supposed to be there for two days, I checked out the next morning and checked into Estes Park Resort, and thank God I did.

The pool is inside, and it was available. You need to go to the front desk to get them to open it. The workers live in rooms in that area, so they use the pool quite a bit. I didn’t notice any dogs, and we were there the third week of June. I don’t drink coffee so I don’t know anything about that. Other than the strip, there’s absolutely nothing to do after about 7.

Our room had neither. I understand they are remodeling so you might contact them. Our room surely had not been remodeled because we have stayed in places that were half the price and twice as nice.
