Our two night stay at the Stanley Hotel was in celebration of our 45th wedding anniversary (January) and February's Valentines day. Upon our arrival, front desk clerk, Gus, quickly and efficiently completed our check in process. He provided us with maps of the Hotel and grounds

I have always wanted to stay at the Stanley and was very excited to finally get the opportunity. While the hotel and grounds are beautiful, I do not recommend staying overnight. First of all, we had a hard time getting anyone to answer the phone when we were trying to reserve,

We stayed at the Stanley on a bitter cold February night. The tour was lots of fun and gave us a bit of history on the building and famous people who stayed there - also some of the 'spirits' who may inhabit the place.

The Stanley was an awesome historical experience. The staff was more than helpful. I loved the view from the room and exploring the hallways was awesome. I highly suggest the night tour for those guests that are looking for a “spirited” adventure. Also, the whiskey bar is a must

We were in the main hotel. I am not sure about the other buildings but I would assume they wouldn't be so adversely effected by the tours and tourists although they were allowed to wonder all over and all night as far as we could tell.

I was only a guest at the hotel. You would need to contact the Stanley for information on pricing and discounts.

If the renovation is complete, the main hotel. See if they remodeled the room you are staying in. The lodge is only available certain days I believe, we did not visit it. We stayed in an Aspire king room right next to the main hotel, very small, took forever to get hot water, our room didn't get service until 6pm. Overall, I would not go back to the Stanley if I visited the area again. Very dissapointed in our visit. It's not worth the price. Stay somewhere else and just go there and visit or take a tour.
