I chose the hotel based on referral from a friend. A beautiful property that wears it's age well while never feeling old. Gracious, reserved staff, comfortable, well- appointed rooms -the Hotel Providence is the place to stay in the city for those guests wanting a unique, special accommodation.

Should carry robes. Good shampo, etc. Room was lovely. It felt spacious even though it was just a deluxe king. Some of them have an extra nook and they should have robe available if requested. Restaurant and bar closes around 11, so there is no food. I like minibar rather than a fridge so one could have snacks at odd hours....

We've stayed here 3 times. The last was last month. We saw a show at the Providence Performing Arts Center which is literally a block away. We love this hotel. Close to everything. Grab an Uber over to federal hill for dinner. Rooms are clean, nice and every one is different. Some have great views. The little open air cafe...

Excellent hotel, very comfortable. Lots of restaurants near by. Did not experience their breakfast. No parking, must use a public parking across the street. Personnel was polite and helpfull. I recommend.

This was our first visit/stay at this hotel. It is a gorgeous hotel with old world style and I cannot say enough about the staff. We had a few (not your typical) requests and no matter what we asked, they were more than accomodating. Went out of their way to be so helpful! The room was beautiful, very clean and...

Pet friendly. Cooper had a great time. Area is not the greatest but perfectly fine. It's called the art district but nothing was really open on the weekend. 10 minute walk to Brown. Providence theatre 2 blocks away with great shows.

Park the car with the valet and tour downtown Providence and Brown University as this hotel location is in the center of it all. Patrick the front end manager was AWESOME and took care of all our needs...did I mention they are pet friendly and gave multiple treats to our dod Bailey? Lastly, we had turndown service and chocolates, what...
