The inn is a converted sardine cannery/processing center. The original concrete supports add nostalgia. Everything is crisp and clean, the beds are comfortable, especially the pillows. Although there are no TVs, the scenery from your balcony or window is beautiful. Watching the fishing/lobster boats unload their catch and then having it served for dinner can't be beat. It's a short...

The advantages of this Inn include its low cost ($120 a night for a double room with a large King bed and a view over the harbor), a common area with a shared refrigerator, hot plate, and microwave into which they bring a large thermos of coffee each morning, a good location for walking around the small town and the...

A wonderful inn overlooking the Lubec harbor & Canada across the water. A converted former sardine factory. Great beds. Every room has a view of the harbor. An easy 1-cup of coffee walk to town. The Easternmost town in the USA!

We stayed at the Inn 6 years ago and had a wonderful apartment. This time we had the worst suite in the Inn. Don't stay in Harbor View if you can help it. What you don't realize is that your view of the ocean out of the end windows is blocked by a public deck that you can't access from...

We went to Lubec so that we could visit Campabella New Brunswick. We had no idea what to expect when we pulled into town. There was a small Main st. with a few restaurants that offered lodging as well. I had written down a few places to check into and the first one was well outside the town, so we...

Stayed here after crossing the border into Canada to tour Roosevelt Campobello international park. Very convenient that a restaurant was connected to the motel! We loved sitting on the deck/balcony right on the bay- beautiful view! Also really enjoyed the young Romanian women who manned the desk and waited tables.

What an incredible experience. We found the staff to be warm and friendly and made us feel right at home. The view is out of this world. The rooms are clean and airy and the bed is very comfortable which is a big point for me. We found the food excellent at the restaurant, the staff great and with the...

They say good help is hard to find, and I think the Inn on the Wharf is living proof of this. This is my 3rd stay at the Inn in 4 years. I enjoy visiting Lubec in the fall. I wrote a separate review of the attached restaurant (really disappointing) and I'm sorry to say the Inn has gone dramatically...

I found myself working in Northern Maine and was curious about Lubec, the eastern most town in the USA. I found out it had a lot to offer for such a small place, especially if you like hiking, fishing, kayaking or just taking in natures wonder. The Inn on the Wharf was perfect for me. Each day started with stunning...
