I arrived late, just as the bar was closing down. The staff not only let me sit for a beer, they did so with cheer and chatted me up about my travel plans. Good thing they did too, as they provided some local insight which compelled me to tweak my itinerary (in a good way.) My room was simple, but...

This inn, a former sardine factory, had not even a hint of sardine odor. My room was spacious and overlooked the fishing harbor and wharf. It was tastefully appointed, with adequate lighting and IKEA or IKEA-like recliners. My only criticism is that there was no mirror in the room, aside from the one in the bath- would have been helpful...

I personally cannot yet review this property, I can however tell you how helpful and gracious their reservation person was when I called to reserve a room for my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. Due to their being on the road in Canada they ask me to find them a room in Lubec. I found the InnOnTheWharf and spoke with Mary...

My husband and I stayed here one night while we in Lubec. We requested to stay in a room with a private balcony, which I would recommend if you'd like some time alone to relax in your own space. We were able to sit on our own balcony and watch the sunset over the water, which was really a beautiful...

The hotel is built from an old sardine cannery, is literally on the water (the water laps at the rocks just out the window). You can sit out on the deck/wharf and watch the beautiful sunset, sip some wine and enjoy. The room was large, with a sitting area meant for taking in the view. The rooms are modern, spotlessly...

We stayed one night at Inn at the Wharf. It literally is on the wharf. Previous reviewers mentioned the fishy smell. I smelled it. My husband did not read those reviews and he also smelled it. It wasn't constant and at first I thought I was imagining it. I don't think it was the room although I think the air...

If you're looking for something different and not-so-touristy to do on the east coast, visiting Lubec, ME and staying at this hotel is definitely it. The location is awesome with a great view. Our room was very clean and spacious and looked brand new. We stayed in the Sunset room, which had a beautiful view of the water with two...

We rented one of the 2 bedroom apartments. Loved having the bay right outside the window. We didn't even miss not having a TV. The kitchen was nicely appointed. One of the bedrooms was a little small and it was tight trying to get around the king sized bed, but otherwise it was very clean and comfortable. With all of...

This place is amazing. First, the price is soooo right for location. The room was clean, and nicely done (although the inflatable air mattress not recommended - we had a third person). Beautiful views from our room and the common areas. The restaurant served up a good breakfast, and we had a take out for dinner which we ate in...

When we stayed here our room was in a separate building that was actually still under construction. We went down narrow stairs with no railings to a basement room which was lovely but not yet finished. Victor, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. When we asked for hangers and shampoo we got it right away but we...
